Access to front and rear very difficult for larger vehicles so unloading and loading bags for four persons and dog was quite a chore with long walk to a parking space on road. Very steep steps from rear garden which are quite dangerous when wet so better lighting at night and handrails are required. No recycling bin provided and rubbish collection Read moreinstructions were wrong ... I put ours out as explained but saw nobody else had and next day it sat out without being collected. Hide

We found the cottage warm & cosy & well equipped. The parking space is small & a bit of a challenge, but none the less very useful. The garden is well maintained. Nickie was helpful when needed. A great place to stay.

On the whole this is a very quirky cottage that is really well equipped. The lady on hand to contact with any queries is brilliant and sorted our issues immediately. The location is fantastic but wouldnt recommend it for anyone with a large dog or has difficulty walking as the steps and stairs are extremely steep.

Very restricted parking space. Access to the back door is incredibly steep and no vehicle access to the front. This should be mentioned in the cottage details.

Good location., only a couple of minutes walk into the town centre. The parking space (for a small car) is very useful given the limited amount of parking in the area. Property needed a lot sorting out. Lamps not working, rat droppings in hoover cupboard, shower overflowing and not draining away fast enough, lever constantly falling off shower. Ridiculous lip on parking ramp. We had a lovely time in Appledore, lovely gift shops and cafes. We had a lovely meal in the Royal George . We thought the cottage was really sweet and very well equipped but the cottage being cold was miserable. I would recommend the property to a relatively fit person as there are steep steps to the rear of the property.

We hugely enjoyed our stay, property felt like you were at your own holiday home with absolutely everything wanted and needed available. The garden was a brilliant bonus for our Boston Terrier to have a wee on the bushes without having to go out on streets or a drangway like a lot of properties in Appledore, and was a lovely sun trap. The parking sRead morepace is also a huge bonus in Appledore and snugly fitted our Mini Countryman. Steep stairs & steps in garden should be considered when booking. Hide
