This superb, spacious Regency house sits close to the harbour, beach, restaurants and shops making it a perfect spot for all ages. The seaside town has a variety of amenities and the house is very close to the Tunnels Beach and only a short drive to the nearby golf course. There is fabulous walking direct from the property which puts you right on the South West Coastal Path, or just wander along towards the harbour. Further afield you have local attractions including the picturesque coastal village of Woolacombe which boasts a three mile long golden sandy beach, pubs, restaurants and shops. As well as Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Watermouth Castle and the National Trust's Arlington Court.

Prepare to be impressed with the style and space, on entering the property you are lead through a porch into a large open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The Regency style of this house offers high ceilings and large picture windows flooding each room with natural light. Relax, cook and dine in this bright social space, well-equipped with two electric ovens and induction hob, microwave, American style fridge/freezer, wine cooler and dishwasher. There is a  very hand utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and separate WC. The dining area has a large table ideal for family feasting and the lounge area has comfy sofas and Smart TV which beckons you to just chill out. Just beyond this room is a separate snug, ideal for younger children with TV and a selection of books, games and puzzles. Back to the hallway steps down lead to the leisure floor where you can find a cinema room with sofas and a large screen. Adjoining this room is a games room with pool table, table football and music can be played via the large Smart TV or via Bluetooth speakers. Seating means this is where the sporting challenges start, there is something for everyone. The bedrooms are all situated on the first and second floor as you climb the wide staircase to the first floor you come to a half landing with a shower room with shower and WC. Up the stairs to the first floor there are three bedrooms, one twin room and one king-size (zip and link can be a twin on request) with an en-suite shower and WC and views over the town. A further king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) with en-suite shower and WC. Carrying on to the second floor there are a further three bedrooms, one small double, one single and the master bedroom which has a king-size, sea views and an en-suite shower and WC. A separate bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC completes the superb accommodation.

Stepping outside there is a rear garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ, giving easy access to the coastal footpath. At the front of the property is off-road parking for four cars. There is also an outside shower and tap ideal for rinsing off wetsuits or sandy toes and paws.

We stayed at St James Place - April 19th 2024 for 2 nights, 10 people as a family get together with ages ranging from 22 - 78. This accommodation catered for everyone, clean and tidy great location to be able to walk to most things. The owner was most helpful and we'd love to go back some day.

Excellent house for multi-generations, we were 6 adults and 5 children and the house was perfect. Plenty of bathrooms and hot water! The house was a delight and we couldn't have wished for more or better. Really nicely placed too, near the harbour with room to park three cars - a rarity in the vicinity. We had a lovely week and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Super property for a large family, close to all amenities, near the fantastic dog friendly very quiet beach at Woolacombe. There were lovely walks, coffee and ice cream shops. Ideally positioned with lots of good walks nearby, The Hip and pistol next door do good food and well priced drinks. This is a large house and the games room is a real bonus

Highly recommend this property, 2 families stayed for a week and due to the size of the house and number of bedrooms/bathrooms never felt on top of each other. Games room downstairs was great for the kids and the whole house was spotlessly clean. the house was well equipped for all family needs. Location is perfect for the harbour, restaurants & baRead morers, within easy walking distance of all attractions. I was really impressed with the excellent condition and cleanliness of all the furniture and furnishings. The modern bathrooms were a real treat. The games room, cinema room and sitting room were all well used and big enough to accommodate our whole family on movie nights. Loved it all.

Fantastic holiday home with a friendly host. The roses and bottle of Prosecco was a lovely welcoming gesture. Lots of room for large family gathering so did not get on top of one another. House is very comfortable and well equipped. Brilliant location for exploring surrounding seaside resorts. Second stay and highly recommend this property.

Our stay was brilliant, the house had everything we needed to keep all 11 of us happy and content, it was modern clean and tidy. The location is great to use the house as a base and travel to the near by towns and the Ilfracombe is a pleasant town itself. Owner was friendly and very helpful.

Well set out accommodation for the larger family groups with bedrooms and bathrooms over the first and second floors. The ground floor and lower ground floors give plenty of social, living and gathering spaces. Works very well, and with its central location in Ilfracombe it gives an excellent base for local attractions.

Fabulous house in a great location. Plenty of room for everyone and well equipped. Great having enough bathrooms for all the bedrooms and really good showers. This is a fantastic place to stay we were 2 family's and all had enough space to not be on top of each other. The games room and cinema room were a massive hit with the all the adults. Fantastic property, with lots of space. The property was exceptionally clean and well equipped. Some great beaches nearby. We visited Woolacombe, Croyde and also our favourite Saunton.
