Former cider press, full of charm and character with far-reaching countryside views. Nestling on the edge of the traditional village of Broadhempston, ideally placed for touring the whole of the South Hams.

Boasting far-reaching countryside views and situated in the sleepy village of Broadhempson, this former cider press is lavished with traditional features, plush furnishings and rustic charm. Take a stroll through the vibrant garden and absorb the views with your morning coffee before setting off to explore this wonderful area of Devon. With Dartmoor National Park just 5 miles away and the popular beach destination of Torquay just 10 miles away, you can have your pick of coast and country.

The spacious gardens greet you as you approach the property and enter into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. Rich in exposed stonework, wooden beams and fitted with a cosy wood burner, the lounge provides a feeling of warmth and community. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave whilst the dining table seats four people. Up the cottage-style stairs, guests will reach the bedrooms, one master and one twin. The master bedroom uses soft pink pastel tones to create an atmosphere of class and elegance, whilst the twin room’s vibrant mauve and lavender colours reflect the rural location of the property.

Beyond the property, 4.5 miles south is Berry Pomeroy Castle – a striking 15th-century Tudor mansion ruin that has become a popular destination for history enthusiasts and tourists alike. For something more contemporary, Torquay is a fantastic day out with beaches, restaurants and shops everywhere you look, whilst Dartmoor National Park, which features rugged country walks, deep woodland and challenging hikes is perfect for adventure seekers. No matter what you plan for your holiday, watch the stars come out in the evening in this sweet, secluded country paradise.
