This is one of two available Cottages, which are in a spectacular location with lovely views, a perfect place for a relaxing holiday

Found in deep in the lush North Devon countryside, this paradisaical property perfect for couples eager for an elegant break by the coast. With tree-laden views over the rolling hills and a bright, spacious property to relax in, guests can gaze across lush greenery from sunrise until sunset. Just 9 miles from the wide open sands of Woolacombe Beach, you’re never very far from outstanding natural beauty.

Outside the property is a small enclosed patio garden and down the stairs is a private decking area that allows you to revel in the views overlooking the River Sterridge with al fresco meals. For chillier evenings, you can sit by the wood burner effect electric fire or cuddle up in the large double bedroom, and let the hush of the countryside lull you to sleep.

Just 2 miles away in the nearby town of Combe Martin, guests can hire kayaks, paddleboards and canoes for an aquatic adventure along the rugged coastline, etched with cliffs, coves and caves. For a gentler time, take a stroll to Watermouth Castle, just 2 miles again from Summer Breeze. This castle doubles as a theme park, but with scenic walks, mini-golf and a museum. The owners were friendly and helpful. They assisted us with carrying our bags up to the cottage on our arrival. The cottage was exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped. There is good dog exercising space in the garden, and the patio area is secure. Ideal location-beautiful quiet, but within easy reach of places to visit, shop, eRead moreat and just relax. My only warning is that future visitors must feel well enough and fit enough to climb the steps. Hide
