Set in rolling countryside, but just a one-mile walk takes you to the charming seaside town of Westward Ho! where you will find two miles of beautiful golden sandy beach, perfect for those who enjoy the sun and surf, and also access to some spectacular cliff-top walks on the South West Coast Path. Further local amenities include a golf course and tennis courts, alongside a great selection of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Also, close by the quayside town of Bideford boasts a further array of independent shops and eateries, and from here you can enjoy a trip to Lundy Island on the famous Oldenburg. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include Appledore and Clovelly, Instow, Hartland Abbey and Quay, Tapeley Park, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, RHS Rosemoor and Dartington Crystal.

The lounge is fully airconditioned, with a comfortable seating area and a grand dining table for up to ten guests. There is also a large Smart TV and patio doors leading to a glass-fronted balcony, furnished for relaxing or casual dining. The contemporary kitchen has a breakfast bar as part of the central island, four electric ovens with microwave, induction hob, fridge and dishwasher. There is also a second lounge area leading off the main living space and this offers further comfortable seating, a Smart cinema-TV plus a cosy fireplace feature. Now head down the impressive glass-sided staircase to the ground floor where you will find the stunning bedrooms, each lovingly presented and all including a Smart TV. There are two spacious dual aspect rooms one of which boasts a super-king-size bed and the second is a twin bedroom, each with patio doors to the sun terrace. There are two further bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with bunk beds. There are two lovely bathrooms, both with bath, separate shower and WC. The final room is centrally located, includes patio doors to the sun terrace, and is furnished as a relaxation area or useful office, which can easily be adapted to create further accommodation with twin sofa beds. This room also features a Smart TV. The lower ground floor area includes a useful utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and tea/coffee making facilities that service the garden, plus also a further cupboard that houses a large American style fridge/freezer with ice maker.

Heading outside, further highlights await with a large enclosed lawn garden with an expansive sun terrace, with electrically operated awnings. There is a dining area for eight guests, a relaxing seating area with coffee table and four sunbeds. A gas BBQ is also included. Here you can relax in style at the end of the day or enjoy soaking up the sun without having to venture far from the front door. A beautiful house in a great location. Living is upside down with nice views from upstairs. Good size, secure garden for children & dogs to play in. Well equipped, clean and comfortably furnished. A great place to stay! We visited during a very hot period in June, upstairs is air conditioned but the bedrooms were very warm for the whole 2 weeks. ThRead moree awnings were not working which meant we had no shade outside. Otherwise, an idyllic modern seaside family holiday house we would visit again. Hide

This is a beautiful spacious comfortable well equipped house. The views over the countryside and nearby towns are beautiful. Walking distance to the centre of Westward Ho! There is a comment in the earlier reviews about a lack of equipment, this has obviously been rectified by the owner. The whole place screams quality! You won't want to leave. Everything about Sunartra was amazing, the house was beautiful and there was plenty of room for a family of 8. Location was excellent and easy to get to Westward Ho beach. Would definitely recommend.
