Decorated in a contemporary style throughout, this detached lodge enjoys rural views and a fantastic location, just steps away from this popular village of Newton Ferrers.

Walks by the river and leisurely lunches in the waterside pubs are what awaits guests staying at this lodge-style property in the idyllic village of Newton Ferrers in South Devon. The village is a welcoming kind of place and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with some attractive secluded beaches lying within 2.5 miles of the property.

Relax and enjoy spending time together in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner of this lodge-style property, doors from which open directly onto the decked terrace at the front of the property. Two comfortable sofas sit in front of huge windows which flood the room with light in the lounge area, whilst there is also a remote control fire which keeps the whole room lovely and cosy in the colder months of the year. In the kitchen/dining area meanwhile, there is plenty of space to eat at the dining table or at the breakfast bar, with guests also having the option to eat out on the terrace in good weather.

Stroll from this property into the village centre where visitors can sit in one of the riverside pubs and enjoy views to the neighbouring village of Noss Mayo. The woodlands on the northern edge of the village are fantastic for scenic walks, but those who are willing to have a go at a slightly more taxing walk should head south along the river towards the sea, where their efforts will be rewarded by isolated beaches which can only be reached on foot or by boat.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The lodge was lovely, modern and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our home away from home holiday. It is in a quiet, well kept location. The veranda was a little bit of heaven in the evening sun. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to stay, everything you needed, spotlessly clean and good WiFi. A great base to explore the surrounding area. Unfortunately, the lodge next door was having work done all week while we were there. The noise took away the enjoyment of sitting on the lovely decking to enjoy a drink.

We had a perfect stay at Sunny Daze Lodge even though it was a short stay. From the point we stepped in to the point we left, we enjoyed every moment, so thanks a lot to the lovely owners ( Nick and Alison) who went that extra mile to make that happen ...

A very well equipped lodge, clean and comfortable. Everything worked well and we had an enjoyable holiday. A wonderful retreat in a beautiful location. Just a short walk down to the River, this is a light bright well appointed lodge. Spacious and well equipped, with a lovely sunny terrace. We even found a route down to the River which we were able to navigate using a mobility scooter.
