Great location with easy access across to Plymouth via the Mount Batten ferry for 2 a trip. Very quiet at night.

The view over the marina is undoubtedly lovely and that's what you're paying for and personally I think it's overpriced. There are a few small things within the property that could be improved with a bit of attention. The property is on the Mount Batten side of the marina, there isn't a local shop within walking distance for a newspaper or pint of Read moremilk, butter etc, if you've got children you'll need to drive to a shop. There's a small pebbly/rocky beach nearby but beach shoes will be needed. Hide

The Bridge, an unpretentious, friendly and informal eating place within 250 metres. - Nearest shopping <1 mile, poor WiFi (keeps dropping out), 3 levels hurt knees and hips, verandas are sunlight for less than three hours a day over Read moreno more than a metre even at vernal equinox. The house is located in a perfect spot overlooking the yacht marina and has spectacular views. It was great to have the views from the kitchen table and from the lounge with the balcony. Parking is a premium in the marina, so to be able to park right outside the property was a real bonus. lovely location overlooking the marina. Very quiet. Good to have convenient parking. Short walk to Mount Batten ferry into Plymouth. Just wish owners would iron out a few niggles. Need to look after the property better - replace broken plates and damaged pans, increase cooking items, enable WIFI throughout property.

The unit was spotless and the only issue we had was a failing hob igniter which was no issue at all once we secured a lighter. Beds were REALLY comfy and there is a lot of room. The dog slept on the top level and gazed on the boats - what a fantastic view. Parking was easy & bulk refuse disposal is only a few mtrs away behind a high fence . Spacious accommodation for a family of 4 with great views over the harbour. Fifteen minute drive into Plymouth but a ferry can take you across the bay in less time although goes not run in the evenings currently. Easy access to coastal path however, beaches are a drive away.

Interesting property on three floors so you need to be happy with lots of stairs. Quite location away from the centre of Plymouth which is a drive, 5 mile walk or short 2 boat ride away.

The accomodation was lovely with amazing views of the marina and across the water to the Barbican and Plymouth Sound. The location was very peaceful and was a good base to get out and about and explore. The property does have 3 floors as others have mentioned so there are a lot of stairs but we found it good exercise to burn off all the calories frRead moreom the lovely food in nearby restaurants and cafes. I would recommend this property and Plymouth as an area to visit. Hide
