Bideford with its maritime connections is also an interesting place to visit – where you can hop on the Oldenburg and enjoy a boat trip to Lundy Island. Beach lovers will love the numerous beaches in the area, including delightful Instow. The surfing hot spots of Croyde, Woolacombe and Westward Ho! also close by. Alternatively explore the pretty coastal villages of Appledore, Hartland and Clovelly. Exmoor National Park is just a short drive away where you can enjoy fabulous walks and scenery.
