A characterful barn conversion, offering a romantic getaway for guests wishing to explore the Devon coastline and pretty villages.
This traditional little cottage is a converted outbuilding, retaining all its country character while providing you and your loved one with a cosy, romantic retreat. From this seaside sanctuary, you can explore the beaches and coastal walks of North Devon, with Ilfracombe only 4 miles away and the friendly village of Berrynarbor a mere hundred-metre stroll.
This cosy barn is a romantic bolthole. Enter into the characterful, reverse-living space. Beginning on the first floor, you'll find a light, open-plan living area with a sweet table for two in the corner, a snug lounge with coal-effect fire, and a small-but-perfectly-formed kitchen which all soak in the light from a large window. Downstairs, you'll find a charming double bedroom, dressed in a stylish mix of modern details and traditional country romance. Outside the barn, relish the fresh air in a communal paddock and private garden. There are also two resident Shetland ponies to befriend. Or, chill out and enjoy a drink in your pretty decked area, with a chiminea for extra warmth.
The cottage is less than 2 miles from the sandy cove of Combe Martin Beach. Take a romantic walk around this delightful bay or join the South West Coast Path for a more rustic hike. Around 4 miles east, discover the traditional seaside treats of Ilfracombe. Go to the movies by the beach, visit the aquarium, or visit Damien Hirst's Verity statue.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
