You are ideally situated on the outskirts of Bovey Tracey (3 miles), a historic market town which calls itself ‘The Gateway to the Moor’. From here it’s a 25-mile drive into the heart of Dartmoor National Park with its wide-open spaces and stunning scenery.

Elevated ceilings and open-plan layout draw this attractive property into one large and engaging space. Relaxation awaits in the comfortable lounge area where a flame effect gas fire will turn chilly evenings into snug and cosy ones. If you decide to stay in and cook you might choose to dine together at the feature bar or eat outside in the secluded patio area where you can make use of the BBQ, provided to add to the outdoor experience. At the end of a busy day, a welcoming king-size bed awaits you in a plush bedroom equipped with TV, so you can enjoy a late-night movie in comfort.

Bovey Tracey is a picturesque country town with winding streets and unique shops to explore, while a variety of restaurants, bars, cafes and scenic parks provide the perfect environment to relax in. Take a trip to Dartmoor National Park (15 miles) for a walk over the tors to take in endless horizons and meet the famed Dartmoor ponies grazing freely. Visit the nearby beaches, Shaldon beach (9 miles) and Ness Cove (10 miles) which are within easy reach of the property. The lively resort of Torquay (12 miles) offers a choice of beaches as well as parks, shops, restaurants, bars, cinemas and theatres.

Lovely accommodation every amenity you could possibly think of for your stay. Beautifully designed and very very clean. A bottle of Carver, milk, sugar, tea is left for you. The only thing which might put some people off is the location is on a main road with industrial estates along it so you hear lorries starting at about 5am. One other thing is Read morethere is no onsite parking so you have to park on the main road. Apart from that it is a lovely accommodation. Hide

The best place for any couple to stay. Only describe as a small footballs pad. Opposite to an industrial estate however didn't bother me or the misses, quite enough for a nice barbaq. Would definitely recommend and definitely go back five star.

The cottage itself is very nice, clean, relatively comfortable. However the big let down is the location, the road it is on is very busy and very noisey. Does not make for very peaceful holiday.

Absolutely brilliant. Bottle of Cava on arrival, very well equipped kitchen with some essentials like sugar and coffee for the unprepared ;) , very comfortable bed and good WiFi signal! After hours of searching I'm extremely happy to have booked and stayed at the crib, the modern cottage is absolutely stunning and with the poor weather it made it so easy to stay indoors. The bed is comfortable, smart TV's in both rooms and a bottle of wine was a nice touch! The cottage and the whole experience was brilliant. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed and more. It was modern and exactly as described. Would defiantly stay again.
