Step inside this stunning property through a handy porch, perfect for muddy boots and coats. You will immediately find yourself in the fabulous lounge area which boasts a lovely vaulted ceiling, exposed oak beams, floor to ceiling windows and beautiful countryside views over the Tamar Valley. This great sociable space offers a lounge, kitchen, and dining area, has been presented with a Smart TV, wood burner, and selection of books and games; providing a perfect place to relax in style after a day exploring. The kitchen itself is well-equipped and includes an electric oven and induction hob, extractor, microwave, fridge (with ice compartment), dishwasher, washing machine and Lavazza coffee machine. Venturing further into the property you will find that the sleeping accommodation is handily arranged on the same level which makes this property a perfect option for all ages. The first of the pretty bedrooms is a king and the second a twin and both rooms boast a Smart TV and fabulous en-suite shower room with WC and also French doors to outside, meaning that you don't need to venture far to enjoy a morning coffee in the open air.

Located outside and accessed via the large patio doors from the lounge area, a large decked terrace with garden furniture and a BBQ has been provided for your relaxation and leisure. Further to this guests can enjoy access to 10 acres of pasture land with a dedicated field with cut walkways leading to a lakeside setting and this offers a further decked BBQ area with seating. The perfect place to sit and enjoy the magnificent sun sets over the countryside. Undercover storage for bikes and outdoor equipment is available; as are a selection of outdoor games including badminton, table tennis and croquet. Private off-road parking for two cars is provided.

A truly exceptional house. Everything fits together from start to finish. The beautiful wooden terrace, the combination of open-plan living and dining area, the rooms with en-suite bathrooms. We and our dog felt right at home. The hosts were very attentive and incredibly friendly. I can only recommend anyone to spend their holiday there. This property is beautifully fitted and furnished. Very comfortable and warm. It is off the beaten track so there is nothing within walking distance, but that said it is wonderfully quiet. All we could hear were birds and a few sheep. On arrival we were pleased to find some milk , bread and delicious cakes so we could make a cup of tea and have a sRead morenack. We enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch at the Pint and Post which is dog friendly and Bude isn't too far away for Fish and Chips. Hide

Really well equipped, cozy lodge. Built to a very high standard. They use of the field was perfect for our Collie and it was lovely to see him playing chase with the owners dog. Some lovely touches of fresh bread, wine, and a chocolate cake on arrival. Made a great base for day trips all over Cornwall and Devon.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the week that we spent there, it was spotless and very well equipped, including a chair that I could use in the shower as I suffer with Parkinsons and osteoarthritis. This is an excellent property providing everything we could possibly need. It offers seclusion and luxury. Annie and Chris are perfect hosts. Annies home baked bread and carrot cake was a delicious surprise. Our dog loved the enclosed field and even made friends with the hosts dogs. All in all this is the perfect retreat from which to explore.

The Lodge at The Linhay provided everything we needed, and more, for a wonderful holiday. The property is quiet and peaceful yet within a short drive of some amazing beaches and coastal villages. Lovely cottage and well equipped. Fully enclosed field for the dog to run in and the owners were helpful and accommodating with a lovely welcome pack for us and the dog upon arrival. Owners should keep their two dogs on their own property as they kept bothering us and incensed our dog which barked and got very agitated.
