Peter Sayer is a kind, generous & charming person, always ready with a smile & on hand next door. We all felt wonderfully welcome & were touched by Peter's thoughtful gifts of delicious cordial & itallian biscotti. The cottage is cozy & perfectly appointed, nestled in the bushes & trees in between the hedgerow on a tiny lane & the fields. Sea Garden is perfect for a holiday in Devon. Very close to the vast sandy beaches at Bantham and Bigbury-on-Sea. Very quiet yet very convenient. The premier convenience store in St. Anne's Chapel is well-stocked and only 2 minutes away. Not far from local attractions of South Devon, such as Pennywell farm, house of marbles and Teignmouth. The cottRead moreage is comfortable and well decorated, with plenty of natural light, many cushions and Egyptian cotton towels. The host (Peter) is super friendly. Hide

Quiet location, little awkward to get to down a narrow lane, good for day trips out to all the local beeches in the area, and of course the costal paths. The sea garden is clean and comfortable with everything you need so you can relax and enjoy your stay.

We enjoyed Sea Garden and thank Peter for his friendliness and his co-operation. The location is excellent. the approach can initially be daunting to some (narrow lane) but that enhances the appeal and the peacefulness. Although the property is too far for some to walk to Bigbury-on-sea and Burgh Island it is very nice and well worth the stay.
