The town of Salcombe, known for its coastal views and rolling countryside, is a water sports haven, whether it be sailing, kayaking, surfing or paddle boarding everyone wants to get in the water. If you love the hustle and bustle of a traditional market town take a trip to Kingsbridge, with a selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, serving local produce including craft beers, ales and cider. This cottage is truly the perfect bolthole for enjoying a special holiday. On entering this beautiful single story property, guests will find themselves in the entrance hall, which is the perfect spot for kicking off your walking boots and hanging your coats. Step further into the property, and you will be in the delightful lounge, which boasts several original features. Leading off the lounge you will find a well-equipped kitchen/dining room, a double bedroom with en-suite wet room, and a large garden room, with wood burner and views over the Avon valley. The kitchen/dining room is light and airy with an induction hob, a combined oven/grill/microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washer/dryer, as well as a table and chairs. The master bedroom leads from the lounge and has a comfortable king-size bed with reading lights and clothes storage; the large and very well-appointed en-suite wet-room leads straight from the bedroom. The garden room has a modern wood burner, and French windows that open onto a secluded elevated stone patio, from which you can enjoy wonderful views over the garden, fields and the valley beyond. This accommodation allows you to truly enjoy the peace and quiet of the garden room, or relax in the lounge area and catch up on your favourite TV programme.

Outside, via the garden room's patio doors, guests can appreciate the large grounds, or just sit back and relax on the garden furniture and take in the views. There is allocated parking for one car available.

If you are looking for a real 'getaway' then this cottage is in the ideal location. Tucked away in a very rural spot, there is total peace and quiet. The cottage was lovely . We had a lovely time there . The farm cats were friendly and a nice addition to the property . Lots of local information left for us to decide what to do as well as reviews of local restaurants.

The property is very tastefully decorated and equipped with quality items. The Garden Room has beautiful views and there are seating areas to enjoy the surroundings. Had a fabulous long weekend at the property. The owners were very friendly and helpful, there was also a lovely welcome pack for us when we arrived. The property is very suited to anyone wanting accommodation all on one level and there is a lovely wet room. There are a lot of places to visit in the area. We hope to return again soon.
