Comfortable single-storey chalet, located in a quiet park setting on the edge of the village of Galmpton, a short drive from the town of Brixham with its harbour, beaches, and restaurants.

Overlooking the River Dart, this chalet bungalow is an ideal base from which to explore the English Riviera. The modern and comfortable accommodation boasts a sociable open-plan kitchen/diner, a cosy living area complete with feature fireplace and well-stocked bookcase and a sunny patio. Set on the edge of the village of Galmpton, the property is also just a short drive from the bustling town of Brixham and its harbour, beaches and fantastic eateries (3 miles).

The single-storey chalet is compact yet carefully laid out to offer airy accommodation with plenty of natural light throughout. Enjoy meals at the breakfast bar in the kitchen area, before settling down for a relaxing evening in front of the TV/DVD nearby. French doors open from the living area onto a delightful patio where a table and chairs offer the perfect spot to enjoy al fresco drinks in the evening.

Take a stroll into the charming village of Galmpton to browse its selection of shops, enjoy a bite to eat in the popular pub or pay a visit to the Greenway Estate (1 mile), once home to Agatha Christie and her family. Just 4 miles away is the thriving town of Brixham, home to a busy harbour offering fishing trips, pleasure boat cruises and a ferry to Torquay together with a wide array of shops, cafes and restaurants. Choose between the town’s two beaches, Breakwater (4 miles) and Shoalstone (4 miles), both of which offer safe swimming and wonderful views.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

A basic but adequate chalet just right for what we wanted . A central location for us, walking distance to the pub where there was good good and the site was love!I and quiet and having plenty of Sun helped!
