Enjoy peaceful walks through the quaint streets and bustling quayside where you can watch the fisherman return with the days catch. Across the estuary, Instow offers a sandy beach and the Royal North Devon Yacht Club for sailing enthusiasts. Spend a day relaxing on the golden sands of Westward Ho! beach, which is just two miles away. The popular family attractions of The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Tapeley Park, Arlington House and Watermouth Castle are nearby and offer fun-filled days for the whole family. The market towns of Bideford and Barnstaple offer a range of shops, cafes and restaurants.

Arranged across three floors, this property has been furnished to a high standard to ensure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. Enter the property on the ground floor where you will find a stylish lounge/kitchen/diner with doors that open out from the lounge area onto a balcony with seating. Due to the property’s raised position, it looks out across the river and provides a beautiful spot for sunny evenings. The lounge offers a Smart TV, Freeview, DVD and hi-fi. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the essential mod cons including, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, coffee machine, wine fridge and many useful extras. The master bedroom with access to its own balcony can be found on the lower ground floor with a king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom with separate shower room and WC on the lower ground floor with a utility room featuring fridge/freezer, microwave and a washer/dryer. The rest of the bedrooms can be found on the first floor and include, one double enjoying estuary views with en-suite shower room, and a further twin room and a bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Amazing place to stay - real wow factor when walking through the front door and seeing the view. Able to walk to various places to eat and all allowed dogs. Must book in advance though. Great location and parking a real bonus. So sad to leave at the end of our stay!

Our second stay in this property. Wonderful location with excellent views across the estuary. Well equipped and comfortable. Excellent location in Appledore with all amenities within walking distance. The parking space is at a premium in Appledore for a water front house. Heartily recommend.

Fabulous cottage. Location perfect for the shops, pubs and quay. Log burner for the chilly evenings and small balcony overlooking the river. We have visited here many times and love returning to this cottage.

Amazing location, comfortable, welcoming, very well appointed, inside beautifully clean. Parking space a real bonus given location. Really enjoyed our stay and would return, but unfortunately let down somewhat by three issues: dirty balcony (on arrival we found human hair, bird poo, and half-eaten food), lack of basic cleaning materials, and absencRead moree of first aid kit despite this being a requirement. Location fantastic. The layout, space, furniture was just right. The kitchen well equipped. The view is excellent and enhanced by how they have set out this property. Would reccommend it for a holiday for any age or group.

Waterfront Cottage is an absolutely fabulous property. When we walked in the view was breath-taking. Absolutely stunning. The property was warm, cosy and had absolutely everything we needed. The location is brilliant and perfect for our needs.

Well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Excellent location with fantastic sea views. Several minor maintenance issues but this didnt spoil our stay. Great to have a parking space adjacent too.

A super cottage with an incredible situation. Loads of cutlery and crockery, the kitchen is very easy to use. The heating and supply of hot water is super. Everything you need - plus parking! Great!

We stayed at this cottage last year and were very impressed with it, so we booked it again for this year. The cleanliness was not so good this year. The dishwasher and washing machine both needed cleaning before we could use them. Both stairgates were broken and we need to use them as we had a puppy with us. Lovely property with superb views over the Taw and Torridge estuaries, Instow and Crow Point. We stayed a week and wished we could have stayed longer. The property was beautifully clean and well equipped and the parking space was very welcome, knowing what parking can be like in Appledore.
