Semi-detached property with sea views and within an easy to Thurlestone’s beach, close to village amenities and ideally located for exploring South Devon and Dartmoor.

With its dramatic coastline and two beautiful beaches, the small coastal village of Thurlestone is a wonderful destination for those wanting to escape to the seaside. Sitting above the village, this cottage enjoys beautiful views across the water and cliffs, and as it boasts a lovely patio area, these views can be enjoyed as soon as you rise and make yourself a steaming cup of coffee - a perfect way to start the day.

Inside, the lounge is a cosy place to relax after a day of adventure so put your feet up and watch TV or choose a DVD to enjoy with the rest of the family. Whip up a meal in the well-equipped kitchen and eat either inside at the dining table from which you can enjoy sea views, or al fresco to take in the fresh air and unwind during an evening of stargazing. Upstairs, you are greeted by classically decorated bedrooms which invite you to rest your head. Wake up and enjoy sea views from both rooms which have sloping ceilings due to their quirky position in the eaves. The large garden is enclosed and is a great space to play games and dine alfresco.

Wander into the local village of Thurlestone for traditional pub food and amenities to keep you going throughout your holiday. For a day roaming the sands, sunbathing or a more energetic day of sea swimming and surfing, visit the two beaches, Thurlestone Beach and South Milton Sands. 15 miles away the magical moors of Dartmoor National Park invite you to tread footpaths and discover wild ponies, winding rivers and Bronze Age stone circles. For a spot of shopping and a look at the majestic lighthouse on the hoe, Plymouth is 25 miles from home.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Fantastic location for walking along the coast with secluded bays which are often empty. Pub just around the corner and other pubs within easy walking distance. Lovely view across to the sea.

The property itself we found really suited us with proximity to beaches, walks and dog-friendliness with large garden, outside terrace with beautiful coastal views. Very clean, great heating and hot water and probably the best-equipped rental kitchen Ive come across. Just remember to bring towels with you as these are not provided. Recommended!

Great location, easy access to several beaches and coastal walks from the door. Garden is dog friendly. Wonderful views from the patio, living and dining room. The twin bedroom has the best view, just a shame it doesn't have a double. Cottage had everything we needed.

There is a great view from the front of the property. It is ideally situated for water sports, golf and tennis. There is a general stores / Post Office in the village, together with a friendly pub serving good food. The roads in and around Thurlestone are very narrow so drive carefully!

Our 3rd time staying at West Delvers and we will return! love the homeliness, well equipped kitchen and best of all, the views. The Village Inn just gets better every time we visit - dogs still welcome and food is superb but not expensive for the quality. look forward to booking again soon

What you think of this property depends on what you are used to. The position is good if you are fit and active but alas we no longer are and so won't be returning but young families would make better use of it than us.
