West Saunton Cottage is set in a peaceful rural hamlet just a mile from Saunton’s golden sandy beach. Upstairs, watch your head on the sloping ceilings which make the two bedrooms cosy and unique. They share a bathroom with bath and WC. On cooler evenings relax on the brightly cushioned lounge sofas while your favourite DVD plays on the TV. Cook up delicious meals in the kitchen area to enjoy at the wooden dining table or outside on the small private patio with bistro-style furniture. On sunny evenings, enjoy picnics in the shared garden.

Great location between Braunton Burrows and Saunton Beach, although the road is very busy and without a footpath, it was too dangerous to walk my dog along to the beach or Burrows, so it necessitated getting the car out each day. The cottage is generally well equipped with modern fittings and fixtures (with the exception of a shower hose) and when Read moreit got chilly, the heating was appreciated. Hide

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage. The kitchen is amazing - dishwasher, washer/dryer and gas cooker. Comfortable living/dining area. The bathroom is a nice size with brand new fittings. No shower though, unfortunately. The "chute" tap in the bathroom tends to overshoot the sink, so you have to be gentle with it! Lovely, clean, quiet cottage, has potential to be even better! I would suggest this is suitable for a couple wanting to explore and spend time in the local area. Not so suitable for a family with young children. Main road extremely busy and no footpath, not much safe space for children to play outside. Kitchen needs a bit of upgrading and there is Read moreno shower (even the attachment in the photos is no longer there!). Great place to stop for one or two nights but not for an extended holiday. Great commuter location for all of Devon tourist haunts. Close to nearby town of Braunton with good shops and restaurants, also Georgham with two great pubs. Quiet location set back off the road.

We enjoyed staying at your comfortable cottage. With the gardens having had some more attention it'll look quite attractive. The cottage in a lovely area with lots to see and do. Saunton Sands is a wonderful child and dog-friendly beach. We'd like to visit again. One week was not enough.

A beautiful cottage and very well equipped and with so much character. Its in an ideal location so you are minutes by car from Saunton and Croyde beaches for surfing, or like us, dog walking. Unfortunately you cant walk your dog on Croyde beach from May to October, but Saunton Sands more than makes up for this with its dunes and wonderful scenery. Nice cottage and a short drive to Saunton sands. We liked the cottage but have a look around as better places for the money - for example Mortehoe for our second week. We enjoyed cottage and it was clean, had everything but you have to drive everywhere.

This is a sweet little cottage in a great location. A few things could have made it better.
