This stylish semi-detached property in a quiet residential area in the heart of Devon in Bampton, a small yet thriving historic town with independent shops, pubs and bistros. Exmoor National Park is a couple of miles away offering a mixture of wild moorland with lush, deep, wooded valleys and pretty villages to enjoy on foot, car, bike, or horse - riding stables can be found locally. Wimbleball Lake offers water sports, fishing, bird watching and nature trails and is also just a few miles away. The towns of Dulverton and Tiverton are close by and offer a range of amenities. If you fancy a day on the beach, explore the North Devon coastline with its small coves and sandy beaches, or Minehead on the Somerset coast.

Step inside and you’ll be immediately welcomed into a hall, the perfect place to hang coats and store shoes after a walk into town. From here, head into the open-plan lounge/diner which boasts comfy seating and a Smart TV - it is a lovely room to relax in after a busy day out exploring. You can also enjoy mealtimes together at the dining table or, in the warmer months, open the French doors to let the sunshine in. With a woodland and stream behind watch and listen to the chattering of birds. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. Completing the ground floor is a handy cloakroom with WC. Head up to the first floor where you’ll find the three bedrooms - two doubles and a single - along with the bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Venture outside into the small enclosed courtyard from either the kitchen or lounge/diner. Complete with garden furniture, it's the perfect space for relaxing with a glass of wine on a warm summer's evening. Well equipped a good situation in the village with plenty of walking from your front door. Nice friendly village. Shane down to only one pub, but seems to be happening everywhere.

Lovely property with a few minor niggles, the children liked riding their bikes to the park in the village along the quiet lane, and the location was good for making day trips to Exmoor, and the south / north Devon coasts.

Really comfortable, clean and cosy cottage. Had everything we could possibly need and more. Short 5 minute walk to the village of Bampton which is delightful. There was even a Christmas tree for our visit which was a nice touch. Would certainly recommend.

Excellent holiday home at edge of Exmoor in a lovely village. This 3-bedroom house is very well maintained and has all the amenities and fittings that can reasonably be needed. Beds and bedding are comfortable, towels are plentiful and the kitchen is fully equipped. The patio garden is fully enclosed and parking was always available. The centre of Read morethe village is just an easy 400m walk away, where there are 3 pubs, 2 restaurants, 2 late opening stores and much more. Wonderful. Hide
