A seemingly foreign land

Torquay boasts miles of sandy beaches, with a whopping 22 situated within easy reach, including the popular Torre Abbey Sands, Watcombe Beach and Anstey Cove. It’s ideal for adventure-seekers, with a wide range of activities available to try, including diving, sailing and surfing. If you prefer to keep your feet dry, take a walk along the South West Coast Path, with stunning views out across the vast stretch of coastline.

In the town itself, there are plenty of fantastic things to do and enjoy, including the Princess Theatre, the Central Cinema and Living Coasts, Torquay's Coastal Zoo & Aquarium on the seafront. For the more active, Torquay Golf Club and Waves Leisure Pool swimming pool are perfect, while there are many pubs, restaurants, shops, a museum, and great nightlife to be enjoyed.
