Welcome to Great Seaside, where many guests return for the friendly welcome, excellent hospitality and peaceful location along the East Devon coast.

Only 200 metres from the sea, Great Seaside is a perfect choice for a relaxing and peaceful short break in the East Devonshire countryside. Situated in the picturesque village of Branscombe, Great Seaside is set in a characteristic 16th century farmhouse complete with traditional wooden beams, flagstone floors and a welcoming inglenook fireplace with a warming wood-burning stove in the guest lounge.

Choose from double rooms, a family room sleeping 3 and a family suite sleeping a maximum of 5 people. All bedrooms are furnished to a high standard with soft, large comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and private bathroom and shower facilities. There are freeview/digital televisions in every bedroom and free Wi-Fi is also available. Look forward to a hearty full English breakfast in the characteristic dining room before exploring the local delights of the area.

Surrounded by 400 acres of National Trust land with views overlooking Lyme Bay, enjoy the breath-taking views and numerous attractions in and around the village of Branscombe. From the mouth-watering menus in the two award-winning village pubs, to the unspoiled beach and beautiful South West coastal path walks, you are perfectly located to enjoy both coast and countryside. The popular seaside town of Sidmouth and fossil rich beaches of Lyme Regis are only a short drive away.

Being an area dominated by The National Trust, there are plenty of nearby National Trust attractions nearby too, including a traditional working forge, watermill and The Old Bakery tea rooms and museum all within walking distance in the village. The nearby village of Beer offers a fascinating visit where you can explore The Beer Caves or take a family trip to Pecorama gardens and railway.
