You’ll also be close to both Dartmoor and Exmoor, and half an hour’s drive from Haldon Forest, which has some of the best off-road cycling and walking routes.

The town is well connected, with trains running regularly on the scenic Tarka Line between Barnstaple and Exeter - perfect for getting out and exploring the region.
