A Mediterranean feeling

A stunning beach, Mediterranean-style palm trees and elegant Victorian architecture await you in Torquay. With its sheltered horseshoe-shaped bay, the town is the perfect place to enjoy water sports, while Royal Terrace Gardens offers up more serene surroundings.

If you want some family fun, whether during February half-term or at Easter for example, head over to Paignton where attractions like Paignton Zoo and numerous sandy beaches mean children will be entertained for hours. The town is also a haven for activity, with the nightlife no exception. Award-winning restaurants, cafés and pubs come alive after dark.

A boat lover’s dream would be Brixham, with a beautiful marina to stroll down and rows of yachts to admire. During the summer months, the town is filled with old sea dogs wanting to delight visiting children with their stories and puppet shows.
