A coastal village

Combe Martin is situated right on the fringe of Exmoor National Park, one of the most beautiful areas of the country. With Lynton and Lynmouth to the west and Woolacombe and Ilfracombe to the east, the village is the perfect base for exploring the incredible surroundings.

The village’s peaceful cove has towering hills either side offering amazing views across the bay. At low tide, you can head around the coast to a usually inaccessible and secluded golden beach, while, just along the South West Coast Path, you’ll find Great Hangman, England's highest sea cliff.

Just outside the village is Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, home to animatronic dinosaurs and a whole host of exotic animals, while halfway along the high street is the Pack o’Cards Inn. Built in 1626, it was built to resemble a pack of cards.
