This fantastic farmhouse is close to Devon’s famous golden coast offering miles of sandy beaches at Woolacombe, Croyde, Putsborough, Westward Ho! and Saunton. All are a paradise for surfers. Barnstaple is a short drive away and offers indoor shopping at Green Lanes arcade, a pannier market and theatre. At the town’s railway station, you can join the traffic-free Tarka Trail, perfect for cyclists and walkers. Bike hire is available from Fremington Quay. Also within easy reach are Combe Martin, Braunton Nature Reserve, Exmoor National Park, and coastal resorts such as Lynton and Lynmouth. You could also visit the picturesque town of Ilfracombe or take a day trip to Lundy Island. Fishing is available approximately three miles away.

On entering this splendid farmhouse, you will find yourself in the spacious and attractive kitchen/diner. The dining area has plenty of seating and is ideal whether you’re grabbing a snack or sitting down to a special meal. The stylishly designed kitchen is equipped with everything you may need and is fitted with granite work surfaces, a large island unit with electric oven, hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. There is also a utility room/pantry where you will find the washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, freezer, sink and additional electric oven. Leading on from the kitchen diner you will find an elegant lounge, a relaxing space with wood burner (first basket of logs included) and a Smart TV. There is also a comfortable second lounge, with TV/DVD and an open fire. You will also discover a games room with TV/DVD, PS2 games console, books and games for teenagers. There is also an impressive hallway, spacious and with occasional seating. Heading upstairs you will find five comfortable bedrooms. There’s a super king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request), two double rooms with king-size beds and two twins. The bathroom has a freestanding roll-top bath with hand-held shower attachment, separate shower and WC. There’s also a shower room with WC. There is also a seperate outside WC.

Stepping outside, you can relax in the large enclosed garden with level lawn areas, undercover garden furniture and BBQ also an enclosed outdoor play area with swings, slide and climbing frame.

A lovely traditional farmhouse that has been sympathetically and tastefully modernised but still has the AGA and the farmhouse kitchen dining table. Excellent location for exploring the National Park and the North Devon Coast. The enclosed garden was ideal for the children. The house is clean and well equipped with everything in good order. This is a lovely home for a family holiday. It is very spacious and well equipped, very clean and comfortable. It is also situated well to explore the area (Woolacombe, Lynton/Lynmouth, Croyde are all a fairly short drive away). Had a lovely week celebrating my husband's 70th birthday, with 10 members of our family. A lovely spotlessly clean cottage with everything you could possibly need. An excellent home for a holiday. Very roomy, clean and well equipped. The dishwasher broke down on Boxing Day. It was replaced before the end of the day. Impressive. Very friendly hosts, without being at all obtrusive. Highly recommended.

Fantastic place to stay. Went with large family of 10, children to seniors and farmhouse had everything we needed. Location was excellent30 mins to every beach in north Devon and the moors. Accommodation very comfortable and clean.

A fabulous holiday cottage for a group of 10. With ages ranging from 5 to 71 years this property suited all of us. Spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Everything you need for a family holiday in a great location. Highly recommended!

We loved our weeks stay, from the fresh scones on arrival, to the spacious rooms and extremely comfortable beds! The kitchen was very well equipped & the garage was the gift that kept on giving, from footballs for the children to windbreaks for the beach, there was nothing that wasnt in there! The garden was huge & enclosed so felt safe when the chRead moreildren played out. The house is perfectly located for peace & quiet but within a few minutes of shops and restaurants.
