This property enjoys a tranquil countryside location close to the edge of Dartmoor National Park, where visitors can enjoy access to miles of stunning walks, cycle rides and pony treks, across the ancient moorland. The nearby town of Tavistock offers a weekly market, as well as an interesting array of shops and eateries, alongside a leisure centre and a theatre. To the south of the property, within a thirty-minute drive, is the city of Plymouth which makes a fantastic place for a day trip, with its historic Hoe, marine aquarium, and art deco seawater pool. For those wanting to visit the seaside, a pretty sheltered sandy bay can be found at Bovisand, twenty miles from the property.  To enjoy all that Devon has to offer, why not jump on the train and explore from Okehampton to Exeter.

This ground-floor apartment is one-of-three holiday properties situated on the owner’s farm. The heart of the property is the lounge/diner, with its unusual rounded walls, exposed beams, woodburner effect electric stove , small dining table, TV with DVD. Patio doors from this room open onto the property’s private patio area. The property’s bedroom is a charming double room, which benefits from an en-suite wet room, with shower and WC.

Patio doors from the lounge bring guests out to the private patio area, a lovely space surrounded with plants, with a table and chairs, giving guests a space to enjoy al fresco drinks or meals amongst the farm’s peaceful surroundings. Guests also have access to the shared gardens, which are located just opposite the property.

The cottage was thoughtfully, cleverly laid out maximising the space available. Plenty of storage/wardrobe space in the bedroom and kitchen well equipped. Parking right next to the property which didn't obstruct our view.
