You don’t have to travel far from this property to find some of Devon’s best-known beauty spots. Nearby Roadford Lake offers fishing and watersports and the delights of Dartmoor National Park are only a stone’s throw away. The National Trust’s Lydford Gorge offers hours of walks and plenty for little ones to discover, while Okehampton Castle is home to a wealth of stunning gardens, especially in the spring. There’s also plenty of fun to be had at the property itself, inside the ‘roundhouse’ a converted barn, you’ll find table tennis and cosy seating, perfect for taking in the breathtaking views across the surrounding countryside. Set across a split-level, this charming property provides plenty of space for a group holiday. The spacious lounge/diner is at the centre of the cottage, allowing groups to come together after a day of exploring. It features exposed beams, Smart TV, hi-fi and comfortable sofas for relaxing on. The dining room table will seat up to 10 people so you can sit down together and discuss the day’s discoveries. The kitchen is equipped with a oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and an additional table seating four people. On top of this there is a useful utility room with an extra large fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer, plus a cosy snug, which makes the most of the fantastic views. It includes comfortable sofas and a wood burner (logs included). There are three double bedrooms with en-suite showers and WC and two twin rooms. The bathroom has its own bath with shower over and WC.
Outside, the barn has its own open garden with seating and a BBQ where you can once again sit back and admire the countryside views.
