Situated in the North Devon countryside, this upside-down cottage is an idyllic retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The sandy and surfing beach of Woolacombe is just three miles away and has a range of bars, restaurants and a lively nightlife if hamlet life is a bit too quiet for you! The beaches of Saunton and Croyde are also within easy reach, as is bustling Ilfracombe. Exmoor National Park is a short drive away, and offers those with a sense of adventure the opportunity to explore a part of Devon which is seldom seen by visitors.
Entry to this pretty cottage, set in a secluded Devonshire idyll, is downstairs. Enjoying an inverse layout, here you will find one king bedroom with a TV and a bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The lounge/kitchen/diner, which is upstairs, benefits from a spacious open-plan layout. Complete with comfy seating and a TV/DVD, it is a cosy spot to catch up on your favourite TV shows and films – or to simply curl up and read book. If you would prefer to stay in and cook than go out, the custom built kitchen offers an oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge with ice box. There is also a shared utility room in an outhouse adjacent to the property which has a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer.
Off the lounge is a secluded private patio area and garden with stunning countryside views, seating and small BBQ - the perfect area for al fresco dining on a warm Devon evening in summer.
