Imagine being within walking distance of all Westward Ho! has to offer. It's magnificent two-mile wide sandy beach, where visitors can enjoy sunbathing, swimming, or try surfing at the town’s surf academy. Behind the beach, is Northam Burrows Country Park, where visitors can enjoy quiet walks amongst the sand dunes and watch the golfers too. Slightly further afield, and yet still all within five miles of the property, there is plenty to see and do, including a day trip to the market town of Bideford, a quick visit to the traditional fishing village of Appledore, and The Big Sheep family adventure park which is a guaranteed day out.

On arriving at this four-storey property, guests will be able to immediately relax and feel at home in this beautifully finished accommodation. This carefully styled house is complete with the finest touches to ensure a home-from-home experience for everyone that stays here. On the lower-ground floor, is the first of two spacious reception rooms, which takes the form of a lounge/kitchen/diner. To the rear of this space, a light-filled lounge area has comfortable sofa seating, a TV/DVD, gas fire, and huge bi-fold doors which open onto the decked balcony, allowing guests to extend this space to the outdoors during the warmer months. At the opposite end of this room, the kitchen/diner has an electric oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher, whilst a separate utility room houses the wine cooler, washing machine and tumble dryer. Stairs lead to the ground floor, where there is a second lounge with breath taking sea views, TV/DVD, hi-fi, and gas fire. Also on this floor is a convenient cloakroom with WC. On the first floor of the property are two bedrooms, the first of which is a stylish king-size room with its own balcony, and an en-suite shower room with WC. The main bathroom is located on this floor, offering a bath and WC. The second first-floor bedroom is a lovely twin room, which can be made up as another king-size on request. The final two bedrooms are located on the second floor, which again offers a king-size room with a balcony, en-suite shower and WC, and a twin room.

Outside, the property has a number of wonderfully relaxing spaces from which to enjoy the views. There are four separate balconies, all of which have garden furniture, including a large decked balcony on the lower-ground floor, which thanks to a BBQ and its proximity to the kitchen, makes a perfect place to enjoy alfresco dining. There is also a handy secure storage space here, which is useful for storing bikes, surfboards, etc. Steps from this space lead down to an enclosed paved area, which makes for the perfect suntrap in the summer, there is an outdoor hot and cold shower.

Lovely house in excellent location,just watch the sharp pullout at the bottom of the road. Very well equipped and appointed. We were a family of 8-5 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen/dining/small lounge was very pleasant-being able to cook,keep an eye on the children and have a glorious sea view. Loved haRead moreving a second lounge with a view. One of the best appointed properties we've ever stayed in. Beautiful location. Really enjoyed the stay. Would recommend North Devon Surf Schhol, who were excellent, and The Pig & Whistle Pizza Bar next door. Beach is amazing and well manned by Life Boat staff.
