This single-storey property is located in the stunning Devonshire countryside, in the hamlet of Higher Clovelly, which is just two miles from the popular village of Clovelly, a stunningly maintained private village with its famous cobbled streets and gives visitors a taste of Devonshire life in times gone by. There are a number of beaches in the area, the large family-friendly beach at Westward Ho! which also boasts a surfing academy or Bude and all of its lively beaches. Just ten miles from the property, the pretty harbour town of Bideford offers narrow winding streets lined with interesting shops, which make it a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. Or why not take the boat from Bideford Quay (or Ilfracombe) out to the island of Lundy, a beautiful three-mile wide wild island located in the Bristol Channel.
This property is accessed via several external steps or a ramp. The comfortable, light-filled lounge/diner is dominated by the stunning far-reaching views of both countryside and coastline which can be enjoyed from the dining room and one of the sofa's. There is also a TV/DVD, so there is always a choice of relaxing entertainment at the end of a busy day. In the kitchen, guests will find everything they need, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, slow cooker, fridge/freezer, and washer/dryer. The property has two bedrooms: an attractive double room with an en-suite shower room with WC, and a relaxing twin room. The family bathroom has a lovely free-standing bath, separate shower cubicle, and WC.
Outside, there is an elevated patio area, with seating and a BBQ, to the front of the property, which extends down to a lawn with beautiful far-reaching views to the sea. Guests are also able to explore parts of the farm, and of course, have access to the indoor heated swimming pool (private sessions can be arranged on arrival). There are plenty of animals on the farm, which guests, particularly younger ones, may like to meet, including sheep, pigs, goats, guinea pigs, tortoises, and terrapins.
