Originally a granary, the holiday cottage is attached to the farmhouse itself and is located in a valley at the end of a long private farm track. Guests can explore the farm and view the animals, as well as take walks in the 25 acres of woodland and along the riverbank that are adjacent to the farm. The cottage is less than one mile from the village of Chulmleigh and its shops, pubs, golf course and riding stables. There are several fine beaches in the area that are accessible by car, including Saunton Sands and Woolacombe. Guests can also enjoy a day out at Cobbaton Combat museum, RHS Rosemoor Gardens and several National Trust properties.
The ground floor of the cottage consists of an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The spacious lounge area has comfortable seating, TV, DVD player, Freeview and a portable CD player, and provides a homely space to relax whilst on your break away. The dining area has a table and chairs to seat up to four people. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Upstairs, there are two spacious bedrooms: one double and one twin. The bathroom features a shower over bath and WC.
To the rear of the property, there is yet more garden space, with a table and chairs, plus a BBQ making it the perfect spot for al fresco summer dining.
