There are many National Trust properties nearby, including the Killerton Estate and Knightshayes House and Gardens. The town of Tiverton offers a pretty canal with opportunities for kayaking or cycling along its many miles of tow paths. You will also be ideally placed to explore the historic cathedral city of Exeter which boasts a wide selection of shops and places to eat. Exmouth and Sidmouth, dog friendly beaches, are 40 minutes away and the north coast waves and award winning Woolacombe beach are an hour by car. Exmoor and Dartmoor have beautiful walks and stunning views. East Devon offers Lyme Regis and Seaton beaches and a huge array of activities for the children too, along this stretch of the Jurassic coast.
Set on the owners ground and attached to the owners property, yet privacy is ensured is this well-planned and spacious property. Leading on from here, down a couple of steps you enter the beautiful, light and airy and well-equipped country style kitchen with a dining table for 6, electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee machine. An Aga (not in use) remains as an original feature. Leading off the kitchen is a wonderful, spacious lounge area with working wood burner in an inglenook fireplace, lots of comfortable sofa's and Smart TV. Heading on upstairs you will find a large landing. From here two further bedrooms can be found, one a king-size room the other a double room, there is also a bathroom with bath, separate shower, and WC.
Heading outside the property, you'll find the pergola with seating and an outdoor wood burner for your sole use. Perfect for al fresco dining. Steps take you up to the large garden where you can enjoy the wonderful valley views from the orchard and relax on the garden furniture. Light the BBQ, enjoy the afterglow of the fire pit and an array of garden games for the children. To the rear of the property there is a large, enclosed, off-road gravelled area for several cars. Here you'll also find the secure bike storage for avid cycling explorers.
