Situated in the town of Brixham, this property makes a fantastic base for exploring the picturesque English Riviera. The whole area of Torbay, comprising Brixham, Torquay, and Paignton has much to offer visitors, including boat trips, beautiful beaches, well-regarded seafood restaurant, a steam railway, museums, and even a zoo. The property is situated close to the breakwater in Brixham, a magnificent 0.5 mile structure which stretches out from the beach, offering bracing walks across the waves, and wonderful panoramic views of the bay and back to the town itself.

On entering this property, guests will find themselves in the ground-floor entrance hall. Stairs lead to the open-plan living area on the first floor, where sofas in the lounge area are positioned to allow guests to enjoy the spectacular views out to sea. Patio doors open onto the balcony, making it easy to take drinks outside and enjoy the sea air. The kitchen/diner which overlooks the lounge area is accessed via a short flight of five steps, and is well-equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. There is also a useful cloakroom WC on this level. Open-tread 1960's stairs lead to the second floor, where there are three bedrooms, all of which are finished to the same high standard as the living area. The master bedroom is a spacious king-size room with a large fitted wardrobe and sea views, whilst there is also a twin room, and a peaceful single room. The bathroom, which can also be found on the second floor, has a shower-over-bath, WC. Along this hallway, you can find the washing machine and tumble dryer in useful cupboard. A further set of stairs leads to the roof garden on the top floor.

Outside, the property benefits from a wonderful roof garden, laid with astroturf,  which offers unrivalled views across the bay, and as far as Exmouth. There is garden furniture provided here, allowing guests to enjoy alfresco meals and drinks. On the first floor, accessed through the lounge’s patio door is a wide balcony which also has patio seating. There is off-road driveway parking available for one car at the front of the house, with an additional space to the side of the property.

We had a wonderful week over half term. The property location was impressive set away from the main strip but within walking distance. The views from all floors was amazing being able to see the complete English Riviera. We loved just eating breakfast and taking in the wonderful views. Winston Cap is a lovely place to stay the views from the balcony are fantastic, the house was very clean plenty of utensils to use the beds were very comfy. Bit of a hill to climb back up if you walked into town. I would recommend it as a place to stay

Lovely house and beautiful views of sea. Not far to walk to the working fishing town. Steep walk back but fine. Good carparking. Lots to do, good local pubs, restaurants, cafes.

Lovely big bath towels. Some lovely artwork ! A great variety of books and games. A very comfortable and airy property with some good quality furniture and crockery with the bonus of a small coffee machine. There was enough of everything that was needed for a short break away. We stayed in Wiston Cap some years ago and it was fab then and continues to be a fab house,speedy wifi,comfy sofas,comfy beds and good views.Well appointed and for Brixham the rarity of having parking for the property. There is a Co-op a short walk/2min drive away so you don't have to go all the way in to Brxiham

The pictures do not do this place justice, We felt right at home as soon as we arrived and very relaxed too. Its in such a great location and the views are so mesmerising, we will definitely be visiting again soon.

Absolutely amazing holiday home with everything you might need for a very comfortable stay. Comfy furniture, well equipped kitchen and fab views. Not too far from the shops and restaurants but far enough removed to be really peaceful.
