We rented this cottage because our son was getting married in Appledore and we needed a base for our family. The cottage was perfect, in a great location to explore delightful Appledore. Lovely location. The cottage is fairly basic, in keeping with the age of the property, but perfectly adequate. It was worth paying for a week's parking at the Quay car park. It is worth noting that the property is over three floors and the main double ensuite is downstairs (fairly steep stairs). As you might expect, some of the rooms (kitchen and dRead moreining area) are on the cosy side. But loved hearing the sea lapping outside the windows. Hide

A lovely cottage right on the water's edge in the heart of Appledore with wonderful views across the estuary from indoors as well as from the two terraces. Spacious, comfortable and extremely clean accommodation. The shops, cafes and pubs all within a short walk. Will certainly return.
