Appledore's pretty quayside is lined with charming independent shops, galleries, restaurants and welcoming pubs. You only have to stroll the pretty streets and along the vibrant quay to get a real sense of village's fishing and ship building history. The Maritime Museum is well worth a visit, with each room depicting a different aspect of life at sea. The area offers plenty for both thrill seekers and those looking for a little peace and quiet. Watch the boats out on the estuary, try your hand at crabbing, with the world championships being held on the quayside in Summer, or head to the golden sands and surf at the neighbouring seaside town of Westward Ho!
Step through the front door and find a cosy lounge on your left, with comfy seating and Smart TV, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The dining area has a feature fireplace with wood burner effect gas fire. Stepping up once again into the kitchen, which offers an electric oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer, a great space to prepare a family meal. Steep stairs lead from the dining area up to the first floor with the two bedrooms, one spacious double and one smaller room with full size bunk beds with an additional single bed, accommodating up to three. A bathroom with a shower over bath and WC completes the accommodation.
Heading outside, a door from the kitchen leads to a flight of steep concrete steps (with handrail) which have shared access with next door, but which also lead to your own private decked area offering seating and river views.
There is roadside parking nearby as parking is only available outside the property between 6pm-8am but unloading is possible outside the property when you arrive.
