This is a well equipped cottage in a lovely rural setting but the long approach roads are very narrow and pot-holed and the road is only a few feet from the front door. Although there is not a huge amount of traffic some of the vehicles go by quite fast and as the garden is not enclosed you have to take extra care with pets. The farm and its surrouRead morendings would benefit from some general maintenance but the night skies are clear for stargazing and the facilities in nearby Woolsery are excellent. Hide

The lane up to the cottage was tight . Cottage had a great comfortable bed . The cottage was very quiet .used it as a base to go to Woolacombe and westward ho. Had our dog but be mindful as no enclosed garden with the cottage . Had a lovely restful week

We never give a 5* as nothing is perfect. But for a cottage that is comfortable, we'll equipped, in a great location, where we slept incredibly well, with great hosts, this one is up there. We had great weather and access is via tight country lanes but most places are in North Devon. Really enjoyed it and would recommend.

Carol and Steve were very welcoming and friendly. The cottage was very well equipped, and had nice rustic features. Ideal place to get away from it all out in the country, and within easy reach of many sandy beaches, and other places of interest, as long as you don't mind negotiating single track lanes to get to them. Lovely place. Would definitelyRead more go again. Hide
