This beautiful cottage is set in a quiet, elevated position, within 500 metres of stunning Dartmouth Harbour. Cobbled streets lead to an abundance of independent shops and eateries from fine dining to fresh fish and chips. There are plenty of shops and galleries to peruse once your belly is full, and if the kids need entertainment, you can take them to Pennywell Farm (17.5 miles) for some piggy cuddles or to the South Devon Maize Maze (13 miles). Experience some heritage and hop on the Dartmouth Steam Railway to Paignton (9 miles) from Kingswear (1.5 miles). You can get to Kingswear via the Dartmouth Ferry over the River Dart, but if you prefer to keep your feet on dry land, take a stroll along the promenade from Dartmouth Castle (1 mile). There are several secluded coves just beyond the castle (Sugary Cove, Deadman’s Cove and Ladies Cove are all within 1.5 miles) and several larger beaches just a short drive away, such as Blackpool Sands (3.5 miles) and Slapton Sands (7 miles). Coastal walks, water sports, golf adventure parks, historic houses and Dartmoor National Park make this the perfect holiday destination.
