Outdoors and nature enthusiasts will be especially spoilt for choice with the famous Ruby Way right on the doorstep of this property and the Tarka Trail, Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks are all within easy reach, offering some great hiking or cycling terrain and stunning flora and fauna. For those who enjoy beaches and water sports, these can be found just a short drive away either in Bude or along the beautifully rugged North Devon coast, famed for its sand and surf, and providing access to the South West Coast Path. Nearby Meldon Reservoir and Roadford Lakes, offer fishing and beautiful walks whilst other attractions and places of interest nearby include RHS Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal and Tapeley Park.

Step inside this pretty property situated on a peaceful country lane, and you will find the accommodation handily laid out all on one-level. The studio style arrangement incorporates an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner/sleeping area all fabulously spacious and light; a perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring. There is an upright piano available for guests to enjoy in the lounge/diner which also boasts a TV, large cosy sofa and door to the outside, meaning that you can dine al fresco with ease in warm weather. Adjacent to the lounge is a compact, well-equipped kitchen area which offers an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and Nespresso coffee machine. Completing the offering inside the property is the cosy bedroom area with a king-size bed and an en-suite shower and WC.

Venturing outside, a wildlife pond and generously proportioned area of lawn, presented with garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ, has been provided for your relaxation and enjoyment. Further to this, guests are also welcome to explore the rest of the land and watch the horses in the neighbouring fields. A covered cycle storage area is also provided directly outside.

Lovely week spent in Devon at the Chalet which was comfortable and cosy with all the facilities you need. Owners Nicola and Richard were friendly and very helpful. We would certainly return.
