Set in a convenient location, just a short drive from the North Devon Link road, this charming cottage is attached to the owner's property but privacy is assured throughout your stay. This is a great place to stay to make the most of the beautiful county of Devon. The nearby town of Tiverton has a pretty canal offering boat hire as well as a good range of shops and eateries. A plethora of National Trust properties are within easy reach including Knightshayes Court which is within walking distance.  Families will enjoy exploring both coasts with Exmouth and Instow beaches only 45 minutes' drive away as well as popular fun days at The Big Sheep and Crealy Theme Park.

Upon entering the property, you will find the the large dining room with seating for everyone which leads you through to the large, comfortable lounge which provides ample seating, TV and a wood burner to snuggle up in front of on chillier evenings. The light and airy kitchen is set off the lounge with a lovely outlook onto the private garden. There is seating for four guests at the breakfast table along with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge and dishwasher. The utility area includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and microwave. Also on the ground floor is a WC. Head up the steep cottage style stairs leading to the first floor; you'll find the king-size master bedroom which enjoys views out to the neighbouring paddock where you may spot the resident sheep. There is also a twin bedroom on this floor and a shower room with WC.

The pretty, enclosed garden is accessed from the kitchen and has a level lawn area offering plenty of space to play outdoor games and to enjoy a BBQ or al fresco dining in the warmer months. There is one off-road parking space for one car and on-road parking directly outside the property.

Lovely quirky cottage, visited before, close by is the Hartnoll Hotel, 5 mins walk away, lovely food, dog friendly, Nelson the Maitre d a treasure. Tiverton you need car to visit for your essentials, we visited Minehead, Sidmouth ( one of our favourites) got to go to Mocca's for lunch gets very busy. Lovely character cottage with everything you could need for a weeks stay. Recommend the hotel opposite for an evening meal . Staff & food. Amazing!

Amazing and comfortable cottage. Very spacious. Beds comfortable. Furnishings in keeping with style of cottage. Kitchen extremely well equipped. Garden was absolutely beautiful, and our greyhound lived it too.

Lovely old cottage with excellent roomy modern kitchen section opening onto the garden in a very attractive village. Very close to nation trust Knightshayes so ideal for dog walking. Lovely secure garden and excellent off road parking. Kitchen amazingly equipped, good hot water in well designed shower and comfortable main bed. Property in good area for getting around with good road links. Lovely safe garden for dogs to run in . I would not recommend to anyone with mobility issues as the stairs are steep and awkward to use which is not stated in the details.

Fantastic property, cottage very homely with all mod cons. Great garden for the dogs to play safely in. Owners located next door, were friendly & helpful. We only had a short break but would happily go back for a longer stay. Highly recommend.

Really unique cottage which so much character. Loved the non standard doors, thick walls and stone floors and at the same time the modern kitchen which was airy and light. Best of modern and old and had every thing we needed.

A lovely, clean and well equipped cottage with a lot of character - plenty of room throughout. A lovely enclosed garden (great for the dogs) and in an ideal location for visiting all of Devon. Very spacious lovely garden, enclosed so keeping dog safe. Quirky wooden features inside. Ben the owner very friendly, rescued me when hair dryer failed. Replaced within the hour. Hartnoll Hotel literally 5 mins away, dog friendly, lovely food. Good old fashion service.

A fabulous find! The house is very ckean and comfortable. It is so well equipped; there is absolutely nothing it doesn't have. The garden is lovely and there are lots of lovely local walks and places to visit.

So much character....very comfortable.... well equipped.... lovely village location..... beautiful walks on the doorstep.....accessible to Exmoor and the coasts of North and South Devon. Owners were very helpful yet not intrusive. Blagdon Means is the perfect family holiday venue.

We really enjoyed living in the cottage. It has everything you need and more. It was so well equipped I was amazed. My daughter's and my noisy doggie all had fun even though it rained the whole week....we were cosy and happy. Would recommend to anyone. Great value.

A really lovely, comfortable cottage, well kept overall and in a peaceful rural location. The cottage has a very pretty, well kept garden with table and chairs for outside living. There are beautiful walks close by and easy access to places of interest.

We loved this well-equipped beautiful cottage in an ideal location in a pretty, peaceful village that was just a few minutes from a major supermarket and Tiverton. Just a couple of minutes from the A361 and 7 minutes from the M5

Beautiful and cosy period cottage with a modern twist...it has everything you need with the ability to go back in time and get away from it all...centrally located so can visit either coasts or just walk through the fields to Knighthayes surrounded by gigantic trees...happily visit again

This was a property full of character with loads of stunning features. It was very spacious, we didn't even use the beautiful dining room. Garden was safe for our reactive rescue dog and the whole village was very peaceful. Kitchen was well equipped. Although we had bad weather it didn't spoil our enjoyment of this lovely property. Tiverton is 5 miRead morenutes drive away for any provisions but we had placed an online Waitrose order which arrived just after we did. Hide

Lovely cottage & garden, has everything you need. Dog friendly but be aware dogs not allowed upstairs or on furniture, so suggest taking throws. Location central for visiting South and North Devon about 90 mins away from either coastline.
