The truly unspoilt Regency coastal resort of Sidmouth forms part of the Jurassic Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. From the property a stroll through Sidmouth Byes takes you into the town where you will find an array of independent shops, cafes and restaurants, together with a ‘picture-postcard’ esplanade that overlooks a pebble and partly sandy beach. The impressive floral display of Connaught Gardens separates the esplanade from the additional mile-long beach at Jacob’s Ladder and even further sea and sand can be enjoyed at Exmouth and Lyme Regis, both within a short drive. Other attractions nearby include the picturesque coastal villages of Beer, Branscombe and Seaton; Crealy Adventure Park, the beautiful cathedral city of Exeter, the Donkey Sanctuary and numerous National Trust properties.

Step inside this pretty property and you will firstly find yourself in the beautifully light and spacious entrance hall with coat and boot storage. This useful area is open-plan with the perfectly appointed kitchen and this boasts a double electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and also a washing machine. From here, venture further into the property where you will discover an impeccably styled dining room which provides the perfect venue for relaxed family meals. There is a handy ground-floor WC. Also on the ground floor is the light yet cosy lounge which features a bay window and garden views, Sky TV, Firestick, Spotify and Netflix and a warming wood burner. Heading up the stairs and onto the spacious first-floor landing, you will then discover the pretty bedrooms, the first of which is a generously proportioned super-king-size bedroom with a TV and further bay window overlooking the garden. In addition to this, there is another large bedroom with twin beds (zip and link), and then a cosy single bedroom. Outside and located to the rear of the property is a lovely enclosed lawn garden, garden furniture on raised decking and a charcoal BBQ, and here is the perfect place to dine alfresco during warm weather. There is private off-road parking for one car on the driveway, and additional roadside parking is available nearby.

Very nice house and garden. Short walk to supermarket and newsagents. Plenty of pubs within walking distance. Lovely walks along the byes with areas for dogs to go in river. Our dog thought that was great. Very close to donkey sanctuary, well worth a visit, I would point out free but donation boxes around the site. This was our second stay at Sundown we love Sidmouth and particularly like this lovely property offering a wonderful walk through The Byes into Sidmouth the house is very tastefully decorated and offers a home from home feel we will be back...soon

We had a relaxing week at Sundown. The property is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped as well as being well located on a quiet residential street in the northern part of Sidmouth. Our dog also had a great time, enjoying the large, enclosed garden and easy access to the riverside walk and parks through the Byes with perfect conditions for Read moreswimming. James and Abbie are very helpful. Very impressed with Sundown. A lovely, clean, comfortable, home from home! Beautiful garden, plenty of sun and shade. Very private and secluded, safe for our dog who thoroughly enjoyed himself. We had fun in the games room, great idea! Ideally situated, lovely walksbin the Byes to Sidmouth seafront. Sundown is well situation near the Byes which ideal for lots of lovely walks. It was very clean and nicely decorated with a good sized enclosed garden with games room.
