This beautiful property is nestled on the water's edge with wonderful views across the River Torridge, creating the perfect base for families.

Set on the River Torridge and offering breath-taking views, this family bolt hole is only 2 miles from the sandy beach at Westward Ho!, perfect for adventurous water sports fans or a great spot to sunbathe for those looking to relax. Situated on the North Devon Coast Path and the Tarka Trail, the property is in an ideal location for walkers, dog owners and cyclists. The ancient port and market town of Bideford, where you can catch MS Oldenburg to Lundy Island, is an easy walk down the quayside. The local area offers a selection of attractions including The Milky Way, the Big Sheep, Tapeley Park and Gardens, Dartington Crystal and RHS Rosemoor Gardens.

Step inside the property on the ground floor to find yourself in the entrance hall, leading to the kitchen and small dining area. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you will need during your stay and comprises an electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. The small breakfast table makes the perfect spot for a cup of coffee. Moving through the hallway towards the back of the property will lead you to the spacious living room, with plenty of comfortable seating for all guests and benefiting from a Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Alexa to keep you entertained in the evenings. Heading further towards the rear of the property leads you to the conservatory which features a lovely dining area and additional seating to relax whilst taking in the views from the estuary. As a bonus, the double doors open and extend the space making this the perfect spot to relax in the evening with your favourite drink. Moving upstairs will bring you to the three bedrooms, a spacious king-size bedroom, a twin zip-and-link (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request) and a cosy single bedroom. Amazing place to stay! Was minutes away from family and was in a beautiful location looking out at the river! Will defo be booking again to stay when going to visit family again and would highly recommend.

We have stayed here at Tidal Reach a number of times. Each stay is as good as the last one. Very comfortable home with plenty of little extras. Beds are very comfortable and the shower is lovely and powerful. All you need for your stay is your clothes and food. A little welcome pack is left and a lovely bottle of wine thank you. Very close to the wRead moreater with lovely views. The conservatory on the back is a bonus. Nice walk into town along the waterfront. About 15 mins. Have booked again. Hide

We enjoyed our stay at Tidal Reach very much. Lovely and warm which was appreciated very much. Radiators heated the whole house quickly. Lovely and clean, beds were comfortable . Exceptional accommodation in a lovely location near the tidal estuary of the river Torridge. We love the space that the house and the conservatory afford. The views are spectacular and the location is ideal to gain access to the local park, the town center and the Tarka Trail. Absolutely beautiful, wish we had booked two weeks instead of the one. Would definitely recommend. Lovely to have a welcome basket of biscuits tea and coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge. Cottage is done out to a very high speck and was delightful to stay in.

Great location, we loved sitting in the conservatory with the doors open and just chilling. Beds v comfy, well equipped kitchen. Enjoyed time waking along the river and also in Westward Ho! beach. Welcome pack was enjoyed.

Tidal Reach is a lovely holiday house. It is in a great location , it's next to the river, easy to walk into Bideford and right on the South West Coast Path. It is also within walking distance of the Tarka Trail. The conservatory really makes this a great place to relax and watch the tide come in and out. Tidal Reach is only 10 minutes from the centre of Bideford. It was clean, beds were comfortable and the broadband good. However, the pictures on the website give a misleading impression of the property. The view of the estuary is very limited due to the concrete wall, the lounge has no natural daylight and the house itself is in the middle of a busRead morey housing estate and there was noise from adjacent properties. It could also have been better equipped with glasses, bin bags and toilet rolls! Hide

Tidal Reach is the perfect home from home, situated overlooking the river in a quiet position, close enough to walk into town & supermarket. It is clean, comfortable & cosy. Perfect location on the estuary. Well equipped, well presented, clean and comfortable. Towels,bowls, treats and throw to cover furniture provided for our dog. Second time we have stayed here as my two sons run the Bideford half marathon, and we make it a long weekend away. Nicki was very helpful when we discovered we had left something behind.

Place has lovely views and is nice and quiet even though on an estate. Easy walking distance to local supermarket and town centre. The accommodation was as described and very clean. The view was so relaxing, cannot get tired looking at it. We really enjoyed our stay at the Tidal Reach. There is a park nearby and the Tarka trail for cycling, running and walking. One of the best accommodation we stayed in the UK.

A lovely well equipped property. The property was clean and modern. Outside the views of the river were stunning. The courtyard was lovely to sit and have morning coffee or a bbq in the evening. The property is well situated for lots of local attractions, and places to visit.
