We loved the extra touches, the milk bread and most of all the scones, butter cream and jam. Everything we could possibly need was provided. The outlook was beautiful across the lake. This was a wonderful holiday for both myself and my wife, especially as we both fish. The accommodation was excellent, both clean and homely in all rooms. The fishing was also outstanding with all the fish caught in excellent condition, so care and attention must be maintained at all times when fishing this lake. We arrived with the expectations ofRead more needing to go shopping for the bare essentials, but we found everything we needed already in the accommodation as part of the hospitality. Thank-you. A very niche (in a nice way) set up, probably pretty unique in having the place totally to yourself even to the point of locking yourself in. A very well run lake with some lovely fish in that you should see even if you don't catch them, we were lucky (or good) as caught plenty. Helen was very helpful and kept us informed from start to finish whichRead more was lovely, including a nice welcome pack on our arrival. If you want peace and quiet with a lovely view then this fits the bill. Hope to go back Hide
