This impeccably renovated detached maisonette would be the perfect location to enjoy all that North Devon has to offer. Close to the villages of Braunton and Croyde.

Perfectly placed there is much to see and do. The beautiful beach of Saunton Sands is within walking distance of the property or can be reached by a short 2-mile drive. Saunton Sands beach is very popular for surfers and families, and it offers beach huts to hire. Other local beaches such as Croyde well known to be the surfing mecca and Woolacombe which is known to be one of the best beaches in the world. Braunton offers an array of shops restaurants, pubs, and takeaways. Walking enthusiasts will also be spoilt for choice with the nearby Southwest Coast Path and Exmoor National Park, not to mention a plethora of National Trust land and the well-known Tarka trail.

Step inside this beautifully renovated maisonette which leads you into the hallway with a place to store muddy boots and to hang your coats. Immediately to the left is the first of the two bedrooms, the light and airy twin room. Heading across the hall is the shower room with WC. Following through the property you will enter the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, the lounge area offers two comfy sofas and a Smart TV allowing you to snuggle up and relax with your favourite movies after a busy day at the beach. The stylishly designed kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer machine and a coffee machine. There is a foldaway table and seating for four guests if you do decide to stay in and cook. Completing this remarkable property, head upstairs from the open-planned living space to the master bedroom which has a super-king-size bed and a Smart TV with stunning views across the countryside.

Heading outside you will then discover the lovely outdoor garden with views across the North Devon countryside. There is a very stylish barbecue shelter for dining alfresco and dining set to enjoy those lovely summer evenings. At the front of the property, there is parking for one car. You will also be able to store pushbikes in the front shed and there is a place to store surfboards and to hang wetsuits up to dry. This property has a private water supply.

Cottage small but pleasant, rear garden overgrown and could not use it. Different to exit drive way because of neighbours overgrown plants blocking view

Salty Sands is a lovely property located between Croyde and Braunton and a short drive to Saunton Sands. It is bright, airy and well equipped with a nice view over the garden and fields at the back. As has been mentioned in other reviews, it is on a busy road so it is best to reverse onto the drive. We didn't have a problem with this and thoroughlyRead more enjoyed our stay there. Hide

Great place with the opportunity to explore an incredible area. Really well equipped. We loved staying here. No door between living room and upstairs bedroom so sound travels. One large window cannot be darkened. Be aware that bedding contains duck down - let them know if this is a problem. It is just possible to walk to the beach if you use the veRead morerge and then make your way along wild paths. We went on walks, beach trips, National Trust and The Big Sheep. Lovely memories made. The cottage was really well appointed and the garden was a real bonus with its great view). We didnt get round to a barbecue but that was a great feature (along with the hose for rinsing down when we got back from the beach).

Beautiful and clean cottage with nice garden! The road is not suitable for small kids and for walking, but within in a five minutes drive you reach the fantastic beach.

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful little cottage. There were so many great touches, from the wetsuit hanging bar outside to the huge bed or the smart tv in the bedroom for those lazy mornings in the grotty weather! There are no suggestions I could make to improve this place - highly recommend.

The house is bijou but well appointed. We feel more information about the parking should be available, as the entrance was challenging and potentially dangerous. The position of the house between Saunton and Braunton was good and only 20 mins to other areas. The only reason we would not recommend to friends or return here, was because of the parkinRead moreg and the untidyness of the garden. This is a must stay if you love the beach and a relaxing holiday book with our dought. Beautiful and with lots of extras, love the air con and veiw over back garden is what made it for us. Easy accssess to lots of beaches and days out

A wonderful holiday home, immaculately clean with great quality fixtures and fittings. A lot of thought has gone into making sure that visitors to the cottage experience a comfortable stay. We had a great time there and found that the cottage was ideally situated to visit all the wonderful places that North Devon has to offer.

We had a lovely stay at Salty Sands. Very clean and well presented which made us feel very comfortable and easy to relax. The location is really good only minutes away from Croyde Bay.

Lovely place to stay. Perfect for us. So much thought has gone into this cottage. It is a small cottage, ideal for the four of us with a 11 and 9 year old. Lovely outdoor garden space too. Had a bbq (too cold during our stay). Great location short drive to the beach.

Lovely clean accommodation. Air conditioning great, particularly as loft bedroom can get hot. Bathroom is compact but manageable. Would have liked the basin to be bigger/deeper however. Would stay again.

Really convenient for Saunton beach and Braunton. Stunning view across the fields from the back. Made for a very relaxing break. Cottage is decorated to a high standard. Very well equipped with everything we could need and all of a high quality. Convenient for Croyde too.
