This renovated detached property combines period charm with a contemporary twist and sits in an elevated position overlooking beautiful rolling country views. A short drive takes you to Instow with local pubs and a superb deli, perfect for stocking up on supplies. Enjoy a stroll on the traffic-free Tarka Trail, ideal for walkers and cyclists, or have a day upon Instow beach or Westward Ho! beach building sandcastles. Try surfing, fishing, golf or even horse riding locally. Other nearby attractions include The Milky Way Adventure Park, The Big Sheep, or Tapley Park with the beautiful RHS Rosemoor Gardens just a short drive by car.

Stepping inside this superb property you find yourself in the entrance hall with a snug lounge to your left with comfy seating and Smart TV, it’s a great place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. On through the hallway leads to a large open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, bright and light with bi-fold doors that lead out onto a seating area. This spacious and social area is well equipped and furnished with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A utility room houses the washing machine. The lounge area has ample seating, a Smart TV and the dining area has a table and chairs with enough space to ensure everyone can eat together comfortably. There is also a downstairs shower with WC. Heading upstairs there is a stylish and modern shower room with a shower and WC. Three bedrooms can also be found on this floor with a bunk room, a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request), and a master bedroom with a king-size bed all having wonderful country views to wake up to.

What an absolute gem of a property! We have stayed in numerous holiday properties over the years and this one has to be one of the best. Suzanne and Mark had thought of everything! Super comfortable beds and beautiful decor and furnishings - even snuggle blankets, towels and treats for the dog! We also loved their App - which made everything so easRead morey. Absolutely gorgeous cottage, suited our needs perfectly and in a beautiful location. We loved the thoughtfulness of the owners with their welcome touches, the beds were extremely comfy and the dog was provided towels, bowls and treats so was delighted! What a gorgeous holiday cottage. Every details has been thought about and it is so comfortable and welcoming. The Old School House exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, well appointed/equipped & spotlessly clean. The dry weather was a bonus!
