A lovely, restored country cottage with lots of character with a sunny patio and private fields to the back to picnic or walk your four-legged friends.

Perfectly placed, there is much to see and do nearby. The cottage is in the little village of Willand which has a post office and a lovely pub within 1 mile to enjoy with friends and family. Visit the beautiful Cathedral City of Exeter with a plethora of shops and restaurants. Closer to the cottage there are many great fun places to visit including Crealy Theme Park, Quad World, The Bear Trail a little bit further afield is National Trust Knighthayes Stately Home and Gardens with magnificent medieval surprises. For those that are keen to explore walking around Devon there is Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks, both with stunning moorland walks and rich history of rare wildlife. The famed Culm Valley Inn and Beacon walks are 3 miles away in Culmstock and in the next village, The Ashill Inn has a reputation for the best steaks around!

As you enter the property there is an outside porch where you can leave your muddy boots and hang your coats. Stepping through the back door you enter the hallway where you will find a separate WC. Walking through to the beautiful and cosy lounge there is comfy seating with a Smart TV and a wood burner to snuggle down on those cooler evenings, from here there are patio doors leading out onto the patio, perfect for morning coffees and listen to the birds. The pretty kitchen has been fitted with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and has a lovely sunny aspect. The dining table is in the centre which is great for entertaining and spending a night in with family and friends trying out new recipes. Upstairs to the first floor are three very pretty cottagey bedrooms, two have double beds and one with a dressing table and the third with a single bed. The airy bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside there is a small patio area with a patio table and chairs and a gas BBQ to enjoy the summer evenings dining alfresco. To the back of the cottage is a huge, private enclosed field with a pond to enjoy picnicking, play some football or games, or to take your dog for a walk. There is private parking for up to three cars.

There is also secure storage for your bicycles or roof box and surfboards, in a locked barn next to the cottage.

A well-appointed cottage in a sweet village outside Cullompton. A good co-op store a short drive away and a small local shop and a very pretty church.

Wonderful! Cottage was beautifully decorated for Christmas. So well presented. Clean and tidy. Host could not have been more helpful or amazing. Great location. Loved it!!!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay in this beautiful clean cosy cottage. Its equipped with everything you need for your holiday and it's also dog friendly. There is an amazing huge private field for your dog to explore. Davina and Harrry are so friendly and welcoming and make sure you enjoy your stay. They are so lovely, I can't wait to come back.

Culm cottage is a lovely little bolt hole with an exceptionally welcoming host. Toasty log fire, well appointed kitchen and comfy beds. All in the beautiful Devon countryside. WiFi is great too. Highly recommended
