Located just moments away from the stunning National Trust coastline of the Hartland Peninsula in North Devon, this barn conversion has direct access to breathtaking unspoiled views, coastal walks and secluded beaches.

This property is located within a small complex of properties, near Hartland Peninsula which is ideal for those who enjoy country walks, as there are miles of walks available direct from the property, including access to the South West Coast Path, with its cliff-top views. The village of Hartland is 2 miles away, offering a range of shops, eateries, pubs, and galleries. There are many secluded coves nearby including Speke’s Mill (5 miles) and Hartland Quay (4 miles). However, if you want to enjoy a traditional day at the beach with soft sand and a range of facilities, the beaches of Westward Ho! and Bude are both within 16 miles of the property. Both destinations boast, cafes, restaurants, surf hire, outdoor sea pools and dog friendly beaches. For a family fun visit, The BIG Sheep (13 miles) and Milky Way Adventure Park and North Devon Aqua Park (5 miles) are also close by. If you wish to go further afield the popular Cornish villages of Port Isaac, Tintagel and Boscastle are all within an hours drive from the property.

This end of terrace former grain store is part of a small select development and exudes charm and character with apex ceilings, exposed beams and French doors opening onto the patio. Enter a light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner and relax in the lounge where you can settle in for a snug evening with a refreshing drink and a film on the Smart TV with DVD. Snuggle up in front of the warming wood burner and while away the evening hours with your loved ones. The perfectly equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave, and is a great space for lazy breakfasts or trying out new recipes. There is also a utility cupboard in the hall with a washing machine. The double and single bedrooms are also located on the ground floor, with the double offering an en-suite shower with WC. Completing the ground floor is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Wooden stairs lead from the living area to a galleried landing which has been styled as a cosy snug area, perfect for enjoying some quiet time with a good book. This also holds the twin bedroom which has been built into the eaves of the property and has a TV. Neighbouring the bedroom is a useful WC with low sloping ceilings.

Heading outside, the property benefits from a large sunken enclosed patio area,  with steps up to a spacious lawned garden that enjoys attractive views across the surrounding fields, a perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying outdoor meals. There is also the added benefit of off-road parking for two cars.

Beautiful house, wonderful place where the silence is real and wonderful. (Until my kids woke up) fantastically helpful and friendly hosts. It was so welcoming to see both our treats and those for Woody (dog). The property has everything you could need. We enjoyed using the wood-burner as the weather was a bit cool and wet. We visited the local pub, The Anchor, one evening and Hartland Quay is well worth a visit - very dramatic. Its location is pretty remote but this made it very quietRead more which was what we wanted. This was one of the cosiest cottages weve stayed in. Gorgeous log burner and comfy sofas. The owners were so helpful and welcoming. This is a really well equipped place to stay. The bedrooms were all clean and made up. The ensuite was great along with the main bathroom. Loved the woodburner which we used during the storms and it kept us really toasty. The location is great as it is close to the coastal path for walking. We had a lovely stay at the cottage, it was spotlessly clean and was well equipped. It was a very comfy and homely space. The garden was also lovely and the views across the farmland was great.

We had a lovely long weekend at this gorgeous little property. It has 3 bedrooms with very comfortable beds, lovely hot showers and a compact kitchen well stocked with every utensil you could possibly need. A lovely welcoming cream tea and red wine on arrival which went down a treat. A very quiet location but ideally placed for visiting Bude or furRead morether afield at Croyde. We had fantastic weather and full days on the beach, so it was a nice place to come back to and relax. Fantastic! Hide

WOW! What a fabulous cottage. Very quiet and rural location in the middle of farmland, and only a 15 minute walk to the coastal path. Every pot/pan/utensil provided in the kitchen as well as a good oven and full size fridge/freezer. Board games as well as lots of dvds/CDs and reading material. Beds superbly comfortable and excellent bathrooms with Read moresuper high pressure showers. The hosts Richard and Sandy were amazing getting in touch before s with a list of places to visit/eat at. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and their attention to detail was so lovely, it was a home from home. The barn was warm and fully equipped with everything that we needed. We really enjoyed being in the deep Devon country side it was magical.

Lovely barn conversion with everything you need for a comfortable stay! Cream teas and a bottle of red on arrival was much appreciated! Even provided ice blocks in the freezer! Owners were very welcoming and helpful, very quiet beautifully rural location, down B roads, then lanes, then tracks slow driving recommended!
