Nestled in the heart of the tranquil hamlet of Derril, this holiday home is the ideal retreat for families or friends to enjoy the peaceful rolling countryside of the South West.

This delightful bungalow in Derril provides an ideal picturesque quiet escape for those looking to explore the best of what North Devon and Cornwall both have to offer. Take your pick of an array of stunning walking routes including public foot paths, local beaches and the renowned South West Coast Path, and why not even bring your four-pawed friend along with you? This home is also in close proximity to an abundance of family fun activities including the stunning 8-mile trip into Bude where you have bowling, soft play, public indoor swimming pool, shops, cafés and a choice of three glorious sandy beaches. Also Holsworthy golf course is just 1.5 miles away.

As you step up into the bungalow directly off the driveway, you will enter the initial corridor with the first of two bedrooms on your left, this is a triple bunk bedroom with a single bed over a double along with the fantastic addition of a smart TV. Straight ahead of you is the master bedroom with a king-size bed and once again an accompanying smart TV and ample clothing space. Moving on from the bedrooms you will come to the stylishly fitted family bathroom equipped with a bath, overhanging waterfall shower and WC. From here you can take the door opposite into the lounge which has a fantastic U-shaped sofa to relax into after a day of adventures. Join this with the smart TV to create the best mix for a family film night in. The lounge then opens up to the kitchen/conservatory diner, where there is a cuddle chair for cosying up in. The kitchen has everything you need including an electric oven with induction hobs, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. The dining space also has plenty of room for four guests to dine together,  and can be extended for extra room. This room is again equipped with a smart TV, great to watch the morning news whilst tucking into breakfast.

From the dining area you can head outside into the enclosed back patio and garden. Here you can relax with the outdoor seating, fire pit and BBQ, whilst enjoying views over the fields beyond. You also have access to the garage room where you will find a washing machine, dryer and a brilliant space to store bikes, bodyboards or even mucky walking boots after exploring the Devon and Cornwall countryside. The private driveway has plenty of space for three cars.

Wow a very well designed and thought out property. Extremely well equipped and an excellent welcome package. Situated in a lovely quiet village a short drive from most of north Cornwalls attractions and beautiful beaches. An outstanding property and Emma has gone beyond the extra mile to provide a stunning holiday home where everything you could possibly need is provided and of excellent quality. Lazy Acres is a 5 * property. Everything you could possibly need and more. The little extras that were included were a bonus so no need to take cleaning products, toilet roll etc. The welcoming pack for us and our dog was very much appreciated. The location is ideal for exploring. Very quiet and lovely views from the enclosed garden. Our dog did trRead morey to jump the back fence as a little lower to get to the sheep. Lazy Acres is the perfect holiday home getaway. The location is good if you want to venture if and your around Devon. Emma the owner has gone above and beyond welcoming guests including their dogs to her property. Second time visiting this home and it didnt disappoint. Cant wait to book for next year

A particularly nice holiday bungalow with really high standard facilities. Spotlessly clean, bright and airy with modern appliances. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals and there was a barbecue in the garden if you get the weather. The host left a very generous amount of goodies for us and our dog which was really appreciated. We loveRead mored the garden with the views of the sheep and lambs in the adjoining field. Amazing find, we wanted for nothing. Emma messaged us a few days before with the key code. On arrival the bungalow was very clean, and wow what a welcome pack for us and our dog. Clear instructions for everything. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend lazy acres, really quiet and you can do as much or as little as you wish

Such a fabulous holiday home - we loved our stay at Lazy Acres. All the mod cons and so comfortable. About 18 mins drive from Bude but right in the countryside with beautiful views from the back garden. Lovely garden and we expect it is fabulous in the summer. What an amazing property, finished off to an exceptional standard and kitted out with everything you could ever need. The welcome package for us the kids and the dog, went down a storm and was very welcome after a long trip. Wow wow wow - we have stayed in many lovely cottages but this was outstanding in both condition, equipment and storage facilities, every angle was well thought out and covered.
