South Molton is a charming historic market town. You can either walk or drive to the busy indoor market, independent shops, and numerous cafes and pubs. It is a perfect spot for those seeking a countryside getaway, yet it has easy access to Exmoor National Park (19 miles). It is also conveniently located to explore the dramatic coastline of North Devon and the beautiful sandy beaches of Croyde, Woolacombe, Saunton, and Instow, all within 35 miles. Enjoy visiting the wealth of attractions where there is something to suit all ages and tastes including the Quince Honey Farm with its all-weather indoor play area, just a short drive away.

This stunning detached barn is accessed via the owners' private gated entrance and is situated at a good distance from the owners' property. Enter through the large oak door and into the lounge/kitchen/dining room which is a beautiful light space and is fully equipped with a Belfast sink, electric oven and hob, Air fryer, microwave, fridge, freezer, and washing machine. The dining table seats four people comfortably, the perfect place to sit and enjoy a meal or two. Moving through to the lounge area, with comfy seating, french doors out onto the garden, smart TV with DVD player, and wood burner, it really is the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a busy day. Following through the hall off from the kitchen you will find the shower room with WC, along with the two bedrooms, a twin room with views out over the countryside, and the king-size bedroom with dual aspects and again with fabulous views over the countryside.

Outside is an enclosed patio area with a private hot tub. There is also the owners' field which has a trampoline and football goal available for use. There is private off-road parking for 2 cars

Swallow Cottage was wonderful! The hot tub, the views and the property was fantastic. It has everything you need for a chilled, relaxing break away. Facilities were top of the range with a full size under counter fridge, full size under counter freezer, washing machine, ninja air fryer, plenty of saucepans and crockery. Great holiday cottage. The location is central to all you need, the setting is just beautiful and so peaceful. Watching the swallows in the hot tub of an evening was just perfect. Malcolm was a great host, really friendly and helpful with places to visit. The cottage has everything you need. Would highly recommend

Cottage setting is just stunning with incredible views. Malcolm the owner greeted us and showed us around, a lovely man made us very welcome thankyou. We were so happy to see red deer grazing from the bedroom window and the swallows are just mesmerising to watch swooping across rhe fields and skies. Once again a fantastic two weeks spent at Swallow Cottage. If it is peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings that you are looking for then this is the place for you. The owner Malcolm gave us a very warm welcome and had everything ready, for our stay, especially the hot tub,. The cottage is perfectly situated for visiting attractions in North DevoRead moren, a short drive to Exmoor and beautiful beaches are within easy reach. Swallow cottage was lovely, very clean and had beautiful views. Malcolm was very welcoming & helpful, we had an issue with the hot tub and he came over and sorted it straight away. A little far out from any town but this made it even more relaxing. Would definitely go back

Lovely cottage in a very quiet rural area, with great views, also very nice to have use of a Jacuzzi, and loved the underfloor heating, especially to dry washing was great, host Malcolm very friendly and helpful

Malcolm and his son very welcoming, lovely cottage, well appointed and fabulous location. As first time hot tubbers an absolute revelation! Peace and quiet but close to plenty of things to do. We had a brilliant week. Will definitely be back!

We had a lovely week at Swallow Cottage. Very peaceful and relaxing, great location away from the hustle and bustle. This cottage is lovely for an off beaten track stay away which has amazing landscape views, fantastic amenities and is close enough to tourist attractions.

The cottage is well named...we much enjoyed watching the swallows. It is a very peaceful setting with nice views and deer spotted. Comfortable accommodation. Good supply of hot water. This is rural North Devon so dont expect to get to places quickly. Once you accept the slower pace of life it is very relaxing!

We absolute loved our stay. The host was kind and lovely. It was a lovely place to stay, good location to visit other places. Rooms are comfy and the field or backs on to is safe and lovely to let the kids roam in. Quite at night which was lovely when spending the evening in the hot tub.
