Warm and inviting, this tastefully presented holiday cottage offers a reasonably level walk all the way into Brixham for lots of amenities and a picturesque harbour.

Located less than 1 mile from Brixham town centre, this property, built in the 1850's, is well positioned on the flat to make the most of the nearby cafes, shops and seafood restaurants. Walk a little further to reach the harbour, where you can jump aboard fishing trips or take a tour of the local coastline. The coastal path is 2 miles away and promises fantastic walks and spectacular scenery at every step. Take the ferry across from Brixham harbour to Torquay and enjoy a fun night out or a romantic meal in one of the seafront restaurants. Returning to Brixham by night across the waters is a truly magical experience, as you watch the lights glistening as you make your way back. There are many beaches to be enjoyed too, Paignton seafront is 6 miles away as well as Paignton Zoo (6miles) for a day out.

Leave your shoes and coats in the porch before continuing through to the inviting open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. After a long day on foot, relax on the comfortable twin sofas beside the fireplace and make the most of the TV, DVD or CD player on offer. At the other end of this room there is a shaker-style dining table seating four, the perfect place to catch up over a delicious meal. Prepare meals in the stunning fitted kitchen, which boasts exposed brickwork and pendant lighting. Here you will find a gas Range oven and hob, large fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher and microwave. Also downstairs is a convenient WC. Moving your way up the traditional cottage-style staircase you will find there are two well-appointed bedrooms, one light and bright double with quirky historical features and one twin, each offering plenty of storage space. The bedrooms share a contemporary bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Outside is a fully enclosed patio area with garden furniture, which is located outside the front door for alfresco dining. There is off road private gated parking for two cars.

A beautiful cosy cottage. Very comfortable and well equipped. Added bonus of on site parking, a Sainsbury Local and petrol station within a two minute walk plus nice pub serving food too. Ten minute level walk to main town and harbour. Brixham is well served by buses to Paignton, Torquay and Kingswear. A great find and we loved our week there

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is well equipped, comfortable and provides easy access into Brixham, the stairs are steep so not suitable for the less able. Great stay, cosy cottage only short walk to harbour. Car park space invaluable in Brixham. Regular bus service if you want to leave car behind our trip to Dartmouth on the bus was easy (hop on no. 18 by Brixham main car park to Kingswear and catch ferry to Dartmouth). Would recommend St Elmos.
