Stylish and welcoming, this sympathetically converted property enjoys countryside views and a peaceful location, yet the village of Swimbridge is easily accessible.

This property is situated a mile from the popular village of Swimbridge, where visitors will find a lovely pub serving food. Landkey village is 3 miles away and also has a pub as well as a shop with a post office. Beach lovers will enjoy Saunton (13 miles), Instow (14 miles), Westward Ho! (15 miles), and Croyde (16 miles). Take advantage of superb walking on Exmoor National Park, as well as the South West Coast Path and the Tarka Trail, all close by. South Molton is 7.5 miles away with its twice-weekly Pannier Market, and Barnstaple is 5.5 miles away and offers a weekly Pannier Market and many high street brands. The ‘little white town’ of Bideford (14 miles) is also worth a visit - hop on the Oldenburg and enjoy a boat trip to Lundy Island.

This immaculate loft conversion has been stylishly furnished and is a perfect bolthole to get away from it all. Upon entering this beautiful property, you are greeted by a small but perfectly equipped kitchen with an electric counter induction 2-ring hob, air fryer, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, and a coffee machine, perfect for cooking a lazy breakfast in bed or a light supper. Head upstairs to the lounge/diner where you can enjoy the countryside views. Comfortable seating allows you to relax and maybe watch a movie on the Smart TV whilst enjoying a tasty meal and a bottle of wine. Head into the king-size bedroom and glimpse the stars through the feature window. A modern and contemporary shower room with a shower and a WC completes the accommodation. There are sloping ceilings upstairs, which is all part of the charm and character of this wonderful property.

Outside, there is a secluded seating area with garden furniture and a BBQ where a spot of al fresco dining and a glass of wine can be enjoyed under the star-filled skies. Guests will have access to the plant room where there is room to store muddy boots after a countryside walk.

The Loft was very comfortable, clean and quite. The location was gorgeous with lovely countryside views. Jo and Andrew were very welcoming and gave some recommendations of where to go in the local area. We would visit again!

Lovely accommodation in an idyllic location, perfect for relaxing and ideal if you just want to pop into town or visit the local area ! Owners very helpful ! No problem recommending this to anyone who wants to get away from it all with countryside right on your doorstep .. !

The loft is beautiful to look at (inside and out) but not practical for a weeks stay. lacking in kitchen equipment and storage to put your clothes, my partner and I had 5 hangers on a short rail to hang all of our clothes. This is a good location if you want to unwind. If you want to explore beaches and areas of local interest, be prepared to traveRead morel at least 30mins and a time. Im not sure if this was out of character, but we did find the hosts rude We decided to leave a day early. Hide

The Lodge is an absolute 10/10! Gorgeous property. Very comfortable. The hosts are absolutely lovely and make sure that you have a lovely stay.

Amazing property and a beautiful area to stay. Was truly made to feel at home, with all the comforts this barn has to offer along with the finishing touches from the owners with cream tea scones and the comfy soft blankets for cold evenings out on the balcony.

We have a lovely week, Jo & Andrew were very helpful when we were planning are visits each day. The cottage was stunning with all the house hold items & utensils you would need for a week's stay. The scenery was picturesque set in the green countryside. We would recommend this cottage holiday & look forward to returning again.

Absolutely stunning Loft kept to a high standard. Equipment was first rate. Some great dog walks in the area but be prepared for a 30-40 minute drive to get to them.

The Loft is very cosy and comfortable and we loved our break there. Jo is so friendly, welcoming and helpful and has thought of everything you could want. She and Andrew have created a really relaxing space, beautifully designed and everything is comfortable! There is a gorgeous view from the bedroom across the fields. We have stayed in some excellent cottages around the UK and would put The Loft right up there with the best ones. Lovely property in a very tranquil location but ideally suited for exploring the local area. Cream tea provided by the owners on arrival is always a winner and a great way to start a holiday.

If you are considering staying at The Loft, I promise you one thing, you will not be disappointed. The location is perfect for exploring and the location is ideal for peace and quiet to relax and unwind. The hosts are amazing and leave you alone to enjoy yourself. The hosts are very friendly and willing. We took advantage of their EV charger at extra cost, Thankyou. The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. Well appointed but could do with a low level chest of drawers. Although small, the kitchen was adequate. There is a pub which serves excellent food, but check opening times, its not open every Read moreday. Easy access to some nice Devon towns and countryside. I would recommend the Loft for couples who want a quiet place to unwind Hide

Fabulous accommodation, cosy and warm given the rather inclement weather we experienced, with lovely hosts on hand if you need anything. This beautifully finished loft has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay with fabulous views to wake up to. We stayed here in December 2022 and loved it. Hosts were great, especially when snow started to fall we got stuck nearby and they came to rescue us. Really cozy, warm and homely feel inside the cottage. Scenic views over rolling fields. Definitely a return visit soon

Had a really fab week at the 'loft' wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful location,the view from the bedroom was stunning. The hosts jo and Andrew were lovely,gave you space but we're there if you needed them.Loved having breakfast outside every morning,was safe for Molly our dog,who just loved running around there fields and watching the chiRead morecken's and the sheep.The local pub in swimbridge did lovely food and our very favourite beach was instow beach.
