This new to the market penthouse apartment is located right on the sea wall in the pretty Victorian fishing town of Ilfracombe. It offers stunning sea views all the way to Wales on a clear day. Here you can have a ‘cruise ship experience’ on dry land; as you relax sipping a glass of wine or hot chocolate, while listening to the waves and passing seabirds. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the harbour, shops and restaurants.

This apartment is perfect for friends and families alike. Enjoy a stroll to the Victorian harbour, eat fish and chips on the sandy beach, or choose a boat trip with the chance of spotting dolphins, or a fishing trip along the rugged coastline. Only 5 miles away is the award-winning beach of Woolacombe with its 3-mile stretch of golden sand and its unbroken Atlantic breakers, perfect for the surfers out there. For the walking enthusiasts, the stunning South West Coast Path is on the doorstep or venture a little further to Exmoor National Park with its magical woodlands and moorland walks, only 11 miles away.

To access the bird’s eye views there are two short, wide, flights of stairs to the penthouse flat, which, as you step into the hallway you can leave your sandy shoes behind and relax in the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen. A large comfy sofa awaits to fall into after a busy day of exploring – sit and enjoy watching a movie with your family on the Smart TV. There is a Juliet balcony, opening into the lounge area where you can see for miles as the opening photograph displays. The kitchen is a social place to cook up one of your favourite recipes and includes an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and microwave. There are two bedrooms: a king-size and a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request). The bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC.

Wonderful North view of the Sea from the bedroom and living area. Directions good, key box number changed at last minute but was incorrect. Door to flat opened to the stink of Dog. Carpet and rug dirty, hairy and stained, settee filthy and yet washable covers? No working Vac! Windows dirty inside. Kitchen area: one tea towel RAMMY, pans greasy, no Read moreteapot, lacking in utensils. Bedrooms: linen not pressed, thus it looked like it had been slept in. Good Points Great location Amazing views Welcome pack including milk, crisps & wine. Bad Points Terrible communication non responsive regarding questions prior to visit. Dirty windows both inside and out (dead flies and dust inside) Rotten front window (could see the outside through the gaps when closed.) Toilet did work flushing system broken

I cannot recommend this apartment. It was not clean when we arrived. The toilet didn't flush. There was bird feces on the windows and the shower curtain. There were hair in the bed and the carpet was super dirty. The rug in the living rum was a collection of spots. After raising a complaint with Holiday Cottages the owner of the property refused anRead morey compensation. We stayed for 1 night, because we couldn't reach anyone and left right away the next morning. Hide

Small but clean flat with lovely views of the sea. A hairdryer would have been useful and the cleaners had forgotten to put the heating in so it was a chilly arrival on a cold March day but we had a good weekend and enjoyed our stay.

Lovely apartment, clean and well equipped. We had a lovely welcome pack awaiting us . The location outstanding . The views it was hard to drag ourselves away! There were plenty of shops, facilities etc close by. I didnt use my car at all until we left. Would definitely come again.
